Lovely to see you back! The weather has been pretty strange lately but at least it hasn't been that hot here. Just sweltering under the humidity! This was a lovely adventure. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, the weather is all over the place. The high temperature inland got me by surprise, I didn’t think it’d so hot compared to the coast. Thanks for watching 😊

You have it all, the gear you have is a really nice setup and nice big boat to do it all in Perfect , I was surprised by the size of the boat motor but nice to have the power and the little one does the other job which is Perfect, looking forward to seeing more videos
@riveRecon Жыл бұрын
I’m still sorting things out. The boat is designed to take on really rough stuff if needed and long range, therefore the big motor to go with it. Thanks again 😀

Next trip idea - explore the upper reaches of moon Point and Wathumba creeks, on Fraser Island. Timlapse the tides. Catch and eat fish. Explore mangroves and the fresh water lakes, and the habitat. So keen to see that
@riveRecon2 жыл бұрын
I’m keen to see that area too. It’s on my bucket list, hopefully I get to do it this year. It’s a big trip, my plan is to go from southern to northern end along the west coast. I’ll give you a personal shout out when I do it 😀 Thanks!

@riveRecon Жыл бұрын
@@madMaldini_id In Australia, my particular tent is the Darche Nebula. If you can’t find this, look for a four season tent that fits in your boat. It should be free standing (no need for ropes ) and have entries in both ends so you can get to the front and back of the boat. I hope that helps 😀

Love the content as it inspires others. I would love it if your videos or descriptions gave a rough indication as to where you were. Ie Noosa River or Lake … etc. Also can you do a feature on you actual boat please bow to stern, running with video from shore or another boat and in bad weather too!!!
@riveRecon3 жыл бұрын
I’m glad you like it and that it inspires others! I’ll start putting the map references on again. I’m trying to set up my mapping so you can see the trip. I’m also thinking through how to do a boat feature video as part of one of my trips. Thanks for watching 😊

Love your videos, and would love to replicate them in my own small boat. We had limited success going up the upper Noosa river haha Where did this last adventure take place?
@riveRecon3 жыл бұрын
It takes a bit to sort out set up. I’m still tweaking. We might be able to do a tag along up the Noosa. This last trip was out to Lake Boondooma Qld. A number of my other videos are up the Noosa in different arms and up as far as you can go North - electric motor needed. Thanks for watching and let me know any questions you might have for your own adventures and videos. Good luck with it😊 You’ll love it.

How does that Transcool work?
@riveRecon3 жыл бұрын
It’s an evaporative cooler, has a water tank in it and the air out front comes out about 10 degrees Celsius cooler. Cool air also works when it’s humid.
