A FUN TECHNIQUE WITH STUNNING RESULTS. Acrylic pouring, Fluid art, Paint pouring, Flow art.

A favourite colour combination of mine and very popular with clients. This combination came about for me for my Gold Fever series, after researching the different minerals present where gold is found. Oxidised ore has iron oxide (rust) often found containing gold. Natural minerals have amazing colours and inspire a lot of my work. This is a Pearl Pour that I fell in love with, the colour combination is to dye for, and I've been obsessed since 2022.

DETAILS FOR YOU:
PEARL COLOURS: Jacquard Lumiere - Rust, Metallic Gold & Bright Gold, Copper. (PPM) water to thin.
Leftover Dark Metallic table scrapings & Jo Sonja Carbon Black with 25% PPM added
POUR OVER COLOURS: Jacquard Lumiere - Pearl White, Jo Sonja - Carbon Black (squirter bottle) (PM)
Flow extender: Monte Marte Student Black 25/75 Floetrol/water to thin.
Pouring Medium: (PM)
1 parts Golden gloss pouring medium
3 parts Aussie floetrol
Pearl Pouring Medium (PPM)
1 part Accent strong base Gloss enamel untinted water-based.
2 parts Pouring medium (PM)
I add colour to my mediums until I am happy with them, I don't measure.
Water was added to Pearl colours for consistency.
No water is added to my pour-over colours unless using heavier-bodied paint.
If water is needed I use distilled water, as leftovers keep better.
