Hey guys! In this video one of our subscribers saw that you were walking alongside a stray dog we took in over a month ago! He now goes by the name Mr. Potatohead. We decided to feature that in our video and gave your channel credit. Hope that’s ok and you even get some subscribers from it. Keep on traveling ✊🏻

AWWW what a cute story! Yes, those two pups (one of them was Mr. Potatohead) followed us around a few times, including that early morning! They were so sweet and loveable - glad that he found a great family to stay with. So what's next? Would you take him home back to Cali? Glad to contribute our short clips to your story!

Andrea - thank you so much! We love Peru - we spend two months traveling around the country, and would love to go back to do the rest! One of my dream destinations in Peru is Iquitos, and we didn't even close to touch the Amazon while we were in Peru. Next time! Check out our other videos from Peru - we have TONS of them in our channel ♥️🇵🇪

What a view! Though I hadn't realized how high that mountain and hike was. I usually start feeling the altitude from 9,000 ft so acclimatization would be rough. This hike is a great example that an early rise is so worth it! (even if you don't feel it at the early morning hours!)

What is he best time of the year to visit, was thinking of November but unsure if i will hit rainy season.
@theRTWguys Жыл бұрын
November can be a good time to visit Rainbow Mountain in Peru, as it's technically the beginning of the rainy season. However, keep in mind that weather can be unpredictable in the mountains, and rain or snow can still occur. The best advice is to be prepared for changing weather conditions, wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and check the local weather forecast before you go. The views are stunning, and with proper planning, you can have a memorable experience regardless of the season. Enjoy your trip to Rainbow Mountain! 🌈🏔️

Thanks for posting this. I’m planning my trip to Peru in November and was wondering what’s the best location to plan Rainbow Mountain from. Can you tell me one thing though - are drones allowed up there? What was the wind like, once you got to the top? And what month did you visit? Thanks in advance for your help 😊

WHat is that yellow fluid called ? Aqua florida ? WHat is it made of?
if you really want the benefits of coca... you make a strong tea [1 part leaf + 3 parts water] that has been lightly simmered and left to steep for 20+ minutes, with a bit of accelerator or panela/sugar. Or you can just chew the leaf with accelerator on the way/during.

Right, is it possible to do that trip to rainbow mountain by bicycles. Since I have the both the sailboat and bicycles it would be perfect. Pisco probably would become the home port for that trip. Now it is just to find the time...
@theRTWguys5 жыл бұрын
Hum, that's a very good question, Paul. We didn't see any bicycle up in the mountain, however, I highly doubt that you would be able to do that, even though there's no rule regarding bike ban. The path is too narrow, and with hundreds of hikers around you (and horses), and not to mention, the high elevation. It is a struggle to even walk, and I can't imagine riding a bike up. But again, you could be the first one-
