Stunning Redbud Trees: Flamethrower vs. Rising Sun

Hello, is the Flame Thrower infertile? I don't like the seed pods of the redbuds but I read somewhere that this one does not produce them? Thanks!

Cercis as a species requires 2 to form seeds...so even if it's infertile just don't have another red bud near it

@@David-wc5wr I have a 3 mature Pink Pom Pom Eastern Redbud next to each other and no seed pods at all. It is sold as infertile. That is why I was asking about the Flame Thrower.

@@NaturebyGus I'm sure it is infertile. That being said though there are many cases in which anomalies happen and infertile trees become fertile out of the blue for no apparent reason

Hi- what does the fall foliage look like on both of these? Do They change color then?

@@foreveramyleigh yellow but most likely they will just drop leaf before it gets to fall depending on the zone you're in
