That South East corner of England is really so scenic Michelle, the White chalk cliffs which edge East Sussex, and Kent are truly amazing, I think you must have walked them all by now. 🙂 Haven't been to Margate for over 20 years so this was a nice flashback and Spring is edging closer. Thanks for sharing.

Maybe it's my West Coast Canadian roots, but there's no place like the coastline for me! I keep finding myself in Kent it seems. I told Eric this past weekend that the Jurassic Coast has been added to my must-see/walk list. That will be a trek! I'm glad you enjoyed the episode - happy to bring back some memories for you!

What a great walk! Did you see the Antony Gormley statue in the sea at Margate? There's one under the jetty at Folkestone as well

No I must have missed this... or maybe I thought it was someone taking a dip in the ocean?! I know exactly where the art gallery nearby was... darn!

What happened to the dog on the way back to London? Did not see him/her when you were running to catch your train. Was thinking about bringing my dog out on this trip after seeing your video. How much walking involved.? Thanks and always look forward to your videos.

Great question! Roo (the pup) and her dad headed back to London early. To be perfectly honest, it was a decently long walk. You can use one of the guides I linked in the description to check the distances. Roo needed a couple breaks along the way, but she’s also young and is still building up her tolerance for longer hikes. We saw MANY dogs along the way so I imagine it’s a popular route for pet owners. Happy rambling! Let us know which sections you’re planning to check out.

great video as usual. You actually needed to get permission from the King in the middle ages to have crenellations on your home. This was unsurprisingly called a "license to crenellate".

Another fact about crenellations I find fascinating! Glad you enjoyed the episode and thank you for adding to the convo 😊
