No umm z690 or sixth gen uses a different socket called LGA 1700 while the i7 11700k uses LGA 1200 so in this case you would have to change the build completely although I do agree that this would have a better upgrade path no doubt

A couple problems: the specs arent that good, the lian li fans look like shit compared to corsair, same goes for ram and all the different software to manage every rgb component is going to be a compatibility nightmare. I preffer to get as many corsair components as possible because i love icue and even if i wasnt biased to corsair i would still hate these lian li fans because they just dont look good. Also black > white build.

That's one of the biggest exaples of using too much on asthetics and too low on preformeance that build is not a great 1440p build in 2024 a great one would have a 7700xt, 3070 ti used or a used 6800xt yes you can play 60fps on medium graphics in triple A games with that build but using more money on the cooler than the cpu is stupid when a 35 buck air cooler is more than enough
