Lining envelopes doesn’t have to mean a struggle between bunched-up paper and sticky glue, and you don’t have to measure anything, either. Let’s make some together and share the joy of that “a-ha!” moment.

If you’re looking for more junk journal ponderings…. Last summer, I made a limited-series podcast about all my deep thoughts regarding junk journaling. It’s free on the Spotify app! Search for “Ordinary Paper” or link here:
podcasters.spotify.com/pod/da...
Note that in the first episode, I mention that I was doing a podcast because I didn’t think I had enough ideas for a KZbin channel. Things (happily) went a different way, so ummm, never mind on that!

Julie, I'm just so happy for all the folks who are finding you - because they'll enjoy and learn from you just like I do! And you hit a terrific milestone today - hooray! The ladybug is a desktop vacuum cleaner, can you believe it? I've had it for years and it's so handy! I'll give it a spin on a video soon so everyone can see it in action.

Aha! I REALLY like this method. Not least because it also means that if I want to sew the envelope into the center of a signature, I can do that before I close up the sides... Wow, the possibilities... 🥰

That bird wrapping paper is so awesome! I use the tie dye spray in a mist & stack method for white paper putting different colors of copy paper in between. The colors bloom organically. I would feel the need to iron the paper if I didn't stack & flip...(the only thing that gets the iron around here is fabric lol!) Julie is a sweetheart, & I would want her to be my nurse too! Have a blessed day.

Thanks, Sonja - that's a super idea about combining different colors of copy paper to "bloom" - love it! I definitely do the spray-and-stack method when I coffee dye (I never bake them!) and I did iron these crumpled sheets from the tie-dye stuff - It all turned out great. Thanks so much for watching, I do appreciate it!

Hey, hey, my friend! Yes, I know both Julie and the wonderful Ceri are in the PMAS community, but I've not gotten involved with that yet - I know I need to! I also need to order some of their fabulous stencils, they're far and away better than the cheap ones I find on Amazon! BTW, you inspired me to stop at a neighborhood estate sale on Saturday afternoon! Hugs to you!

Laurel, I salute your tenacity in searching for that quip! I believe that line came from some late-night infomercial for one of those long grabby tools with a claw on the end. It was so obscure, but we had lots of nonsensical laughs over it back in the day - for reasons that elude me now!
