seat brackets were the first project I did with my welder. I got some seats out of an 89 Suburban to go in my 78 K5. I thought they would just bolt up...I was wrong. good to see I had the right idea with the adapters.

Many years back I watched a video about the Fall Guy truck. I don't remember how many trucks there were, but it was a few. The major difference between the stunt trucks and a stock truck was a mid engine. The frame rails were boxed and had a few cross members added. Anyone out there that knows where the video can be found should post it.

Hey Stacey, These Are Great! Could you a description to the title like "Classic Chevy Truck Build" to get triple the hits so more people can enjoy these...
@dalejohnson93425 жыл бұрын
I really like the information on the seat conversion. I am going to be replacing the seats on my 78 Suburban 4x4 soon. The issue I have is that someone stole the seats from the vehicle when I had it at another storage place that it is at now. I will have to build a seat frame and also get some good seats for the vehicle. Living on a V A budget is making this rebuild much harder as it is not a large amount of cash and most of it is going to other important projects that I did not know were coming up when I married the second wife. I also am repairing sagging floors and other structural and electrical issues in the house she owns with her mother who is rather sick ( Alzheimers) and takes u lots of time and effort. Either way the interior is not the only thing that will need to be redone. I am going to have to replace the original body mounting bushings and lots of body work including panel replacement. I hope that I can start sending you pictures in the near future of the start and then keep you updated. When I get back t the states I will take the start pictures and then every time I get something done I eill send more information and pictures.

Agreed. A lot of it you can repaint at home and the seats I would get a new bench seat from a totaled late model truck or buckets from a muscle car but the headliner is kinda hard to save most of the time.
