✪ sudZ! ✪ lol it’s impossible to blow these small block chevys esp from just free revving them. Not unless she’s just old and worn the hell out. Correction: if you hold a push rod motor esp one with alota miles around 6k rpms it’s gonna eventually float the valves and warp or even break a valve off. Most of these guys only push around 4K from what I’ve seen. Stiffer valve springs and it would hold 6k and more no problem.

Do you even turn wrench’s boe? And yes these motors will float valves if you hold them around 6k too long I just seen a dude blow one up in a mud whole about two weeks ago from doing this. It depends on how strong your friggin valve springs are.
