You don't need to warm any bike or car up, you start it and go. The fastest way to warm an engine is to drive it. If it's not fuel injected, that's what the choke is for. The old lady is right, he's being inconsiderate by idling it for 5 minutes.
@Uriel-Septim.5 жыл бұрын
@@PeowPeowPeowLasers Agree, I get all my gear on first and even pull my bike out to the drive way, before I turn it on and then I go right away at low Rpm both to spare the neighbours at 5 in the morning and my engine for the first few miles, I even put a Db killer in it as I don`t want to disturb my neighbours too much 1-3 hrs before most of them need to get up, as it is me who have odd hrs at work, don`t cost me anything (made the Db killer myself) to be considerate of others.

Why people who clearly have no mechanical knowledge, nor knowledge on how cars/bikes operate feel like they're able to talk as an authority on the matter is beyond me. Especially in the case of the last guy. Being a sports bike, I'm assuming it's got tighter tolerances in the bore than a lower revving bike, which means that the oil needs to be thinner in order for wear to be avoided. Cold oils are much thicker, therefore the advice the lady was giving him would likely cause premature wear, particularly in a cold climate. Good on him, knew what was good for his bike and kept his cool!

@@razumikhim Well from my perspective it is a street in the middle, or in a very frequent part of the town, which you can see by all of the people walking by it, and by a large number of cars parked along the side of it. In addition I would say that there is a speed limit of about 50 kmph (like in most of the city centers), in my county going almost double the speed limit in this type of surroundings (town, city center) would have you lose your license, a hefty ticket, and possibly a couple of weeks of jail time. (At that time (night) there isn't so many cars moving about on the road, but at any time you could expect that a car, or a pedestrian could come up from about anywhere since there is quite a number of side streets and you should be cautious. Maybe you approve this type of driving because you drive like it yourself but don't and it is just my opinion, i understand that probably You are just trying to be smart by asking this question, but when you see your friend or a family member slamming into a car and dying in front of your eyes you will have more respect and awareness about the road, your bike, and other people in traffic. I don't want you, or anybody else to have to go through an experience like that, ever.

@@the_mad_ratter the saying is correct for KZbin. There is no such thing as bad press. The 7 minute clip has been recycled 3 or 4 times now. For them, falling out off their regular schedule, means KZbin will feature them less, so they recycle to keep up the schedule and keep being featured Putting the video after the first half, means that people watch at least half the video, still generating a good view time, making it still interesting for external advertisers Normal case: people just close the video, no significant impact Worst case: they give it a thumbs down, which still increases the interaction with the video, getting it advertised to more people, getting more viewers and more interaction. Good case: thumbs up, because the rest of the video was still pretty good or rating was given before they finished the video Better case: people comment, anything at all, as comment interaction has a higher rating in the algorithm, than ratings. Every time a bad video gets uploaded, hundreds of people leave angry comments and agree with each other, by leaving more comments or rating other comments, thus again increasing interaction and therefore advertisement to new viewers Best case: Rating + comment. The reason should be obvious. The only way they really hurt themselves by recycling would be if they constantly did it and from the beginning on, because people would stop watching at all. But as long as they do it sporadically and only on the end, there is no real way for them to lose

Whenever people whinge about my bike warming up I just say ‘fine, pay for my car lessons, test, insurance and tax and I’ll buy a car for morning drives’ they usually drop it there

the guy at the end was a lot nicer than I would have been. The old hag needs more than sleep.

"We can't sleep because it is too loud." No, you can't sleep because you choose to pay attention to it and want to use it as an excuse for your sleep deprivation.

Right though, a dog barking for hours will keep me awake, sporadic loud spikes of noise. A bike starting... wake up then fall back asleep because it is a constant rumble. As it takes off 5 minutes later... wake up, turn over, and go back to sleep. If it starts bothering you so much wear fuckin ear plugs or have a noise machine like I had to do because I couldn't kill my neighbor's dogs.

That woman should hear my 2009 Ford Focus when it starts up. Louder than a charger revving it’s engine

I can only imagine how that lady would react if she could hear a 12v Cummins start up in the morning. 5 minutes more like 15 minutes for a start up.

I kind of like India's philosophy with traffic laws. Survival of the fittest, we've got too many people anyways lol

ok buuuut if you're doing 80-100 in a built up 60 zone, you can't be pissed when someone pulls out of a side street and you've gotta hit the anchors. They may have seen you coming, but not be able to tell you're approaching speed ie going 20-40 over the limit. If you're flying along in the burbs, you gotta expect old mate to pull out.

Old lady complaining... the dude was way too nice. I would have explained it once, then been unapologetic and suggested ear plugs and sound proofing. One cannot control what their neighbor’s transportation method is. He was respectful enough.

Dude with the noise problem, could you try walking out of the echo chamber between block walls and houses? See if there is less noise, could you let me know? Like to know if it worked.
