We did 1000 miles over the weekend. Left the house at 36 degrees. We tried using the heated gloves with the wire harnesses in our jackets but couldnt afford the jacket lines. Those Y harness wires were a PITA> Gonna save up and get the jacket lines and hope things get better. The wire management was quite annoying.

We got an 1/8 of an inch of snow and the first thing they do is put that brine on the roads. I won't ride with the brine. It gets into everything.

Back in the 70’s and 80’s I used a Widder electric vest. Ran with just that with t-shirt and jacket. Toasty.

No they don’t- that’s why you need to let them warm up when you begin riding . They start to warm up from the friction of the road . Ride extra carefully in first few minutes
