I remember being a curious 8 year old not familiar with KZbin looking at mario videos as that was my favorite game at the time and stumbling on these videos. I always thought I’d get in trouble watching them because of the cursing in the videos. I continued to watch the series for a long while but suddenly stopped as my own interests were going elsewhere with me getting older, and now being 20 looking at these videos again bring back a nice sense of nostalgia I don’t usually get. I hardly ever comment on KZbin videos but I can’t thank you guys enough for keeping me entertained for so long and having me excited for the next episode to come out. I’ve noticed that a whole slew of episodes have come out since I last watched, I’ll have to start again from the start and finish it through one of these days :)

The first and second episode were filmed on two of the most depressing looking days ever haha. The gray, rainy weather and the interior lighting is so dark and feels so lonely. However it ended up working out perfectly for capturing those amazing visuals of that sad scene of Mario in the field.

Rewatch Journal #2 The quality isn't any much different, but the time that they shot in was much better. I'm noticing Mario's accent came in and out while he was talking. The lighting could be better. I'm actually in love with the his episode's comedy. They get a lot more serious in later episodes, but this is an example of classic laughs. Now, the camera work is also really awkward with unnecessary close ups. The lighting gets worse when they're outside. The ripple effect was defiantly reminiscent of 2007. I feel it's funny how later on, major cliffhangers involved life and death, but this one's what results between the bro's video game rooted argument. Overall - 80% (Another Jersey Boy song? How come I never noticed this?)

Rewatch Review Storyline June 3 2017 This is the real start and continuation to the season 1 storyline and of course gives us another moment with Braw Braw Braw Bowser which is very memorable throughout the series, it's also the very first "appearance" with the Narrator. It's also one of the first episodes where I smiled and felt sad but of course it worked out in the end but this episode was pretty funny and sad at the same time, I laughed, I cried. Lol but it was great. Best moment: When Mario and Luigi are playing tennis "Others just flat out suck like you"! And that whole moment where they start a bunch of Mario puns like "Son of a goomba" and more just some great moments. Rating: 8/10 but of course as always my fan rating is 11/10
