I see a lot of potential with the new club penguin island. I love role playing, voices, and now we can design our own clothing! I wonder if it got two stars because people are so salty that the original club penguin shut down.

The thing is, club penguin island could have been a good game. It has good quality, nice animation and it's a very pretty game. The reason I don't like it is because it takes away a bunch of thing that I liked about club penguin. First- You need a membership to do almost anything. You can't even wear clothes or buy anything. To use zip lines, or get items you need a membership. Second- It took away a lot from old CP. Just because they aren't there now doesn't mean they won't add them later. Animation like this takes a long time. But even still I think they could have added more. There are only 3 locations (that I know of) and they are decent. There is no coffee shop, pet store, pizza place, iceberg, dojo, or even igloos. Like I said they could add more later, but at the moment it is really boring. Third- Missions. You know when you first joined original CP (if you joined later on) and that annoying guy with the fish tie that gave you a bunch of stuff you had to do... and woulD NOT LEAVE YOU ALONE. Well now it's a part of the game. Granted, they aren't all in you face this time, and they make the game a bit interesting. It's just that some of the more interesting ones you have to be a member to use. All in all it's an average game. It can be fun to play and does have better graphics that the original. In fact if you haven't played the original club penguin I think you would really enjoy it. It's just that I grew up playing Club Penguin. I just think they should make more things available for non-members. It has some potential.

This guy was my childhood. Club penguin was awesome, he was what I always watched for info and updates. Now I got Club Penguin Rewritten, but it isn't the same. Club Penguin Island gets boring VERY fast. And to think noodles: Thank you for the memories.
