I'm also loving my Stupid PET Tricks. The sound on that Pac-Man II was also really fun to hear.

I haven't even gotten to the "stupid pet tricks" board and i already just want it for that power board 😀

Oh cool, I forgot Jim made a joystick version of 10 PRINT RACER. I wonder if the sideways joystick thing could be solved by switching to the other joystick ports?

Actually, all those “Left Joystick” games were converted by Joe Travis and are straight off Bo’s website.

@@jim_64s8-bitprojects5 Nice, thanks Joe! And great work Jim on this adapter. And nice video demonstration by Chuck, of course!

Ordered one while I was only half way done with your video! This is perfect! I just hope it works ok on an 8032...

@@HutchCA I have had good luck with games running using the program to force 40 column mode, but the keyboard mapping makes playing them difficult. I am hoping his joystick "fix* for some of these games works on the 8032

Excellent video, work and product!! I wish it had a way to plug in external conposite monitor. Ordering one anyway

I love new devices for old computers! That cartridge is super cool! I was wondering where you were going to plug it into, since (AFIK) no PET models had a cartridge port.
@bozimmerman3 жыл бұрын
They do! The original 2001 had a bus edge connector on the right hand side. Not much used it. They changed it to a male pin connector in later PETs. There is a removable plate on the right side of the case to expose it.

@@bozimmerman Oh? I've never seen a PET with a removable plate covering the side slot.

What SD card reader are you using for the PET? Did the case come with it?

Hey Chuck, I heard that you may have a Commodore PET serial number tracking system setup. If you do I would like to add my PET to that list. PET 2001-8 Serial Number# 0010899

@@HutchCA Without edit rights, I can try to upload enough pictures, so you to add as much missing information as possible. One of the unique qualities of this PET is the Front Label, that is actually made out of sheet metal, not a sticker.

@@HutchCA It might be possible to 3-D print some. But I suppose that'll only happen if there's demand or if someone takes it upon themselves to do the work.

I really wanted this to be in a nice injection molded plastic case. C64 cartridge shells fit that pretty well.
