The corner jig is beautifully made but I've had a much much simpler version hanging on my workshop wall fot the last 30 years A bit of MDF with a couple of bits of pine screwed to, probably 10 minutes to make, worked perfectly. That said, I get why you're into 3D printing.

Everything is printed in Carbon filament? Even the threads for the rods? Thanks.
@ussadesign
@ussadesign Жыл бұрын
threads are actually printed in PLA becuase there is no much load on them, but there are two more reasons for that, one is carbon fiber is not as smooth as PLA or ABS and that causes unpleasant friction while puttings threads in place, its better to combine carbon fiber with another material, another reason is carbon fiber needs to be printed slowly and one part at a time, I did print four threads at the same time and angle of the threads were much lower on the bottom than what they were suppose to be which made them almost unusable, this couldve been fixed by making bigger tolerance or lowering the angle of the threads but this would effect general performance, another fix probably wouldve been just by increasing fans speed but I dont like to test and mess with printer settings. Leg holders were printed in PLA as well, bottom part of the legs were printed in TPU for better friction
@igalan

If it should be a emergency table that you want to deconstruct and construct at will, why the agonizingly slow screw joint and not something like a bajonet or what ever makes the assembly faster....
