Would be cool if you showed VietMinh, because they attacked Japanese convoys in Vietnam and were supplied by allies during WW2. There is even a photo of Ho Chi Minh and Americans sailors after the end of Japanese occupation of French Indochina.

@markmitin73972 жыл бұрын
@@ryuriknguyen26106 Yeah, I mean another Video that takes place later in the war, Where the Japanese already occupied French Indochina. Like a night raid on Japanese convoy near Village somewhere near Hanoi around 1941-1942, where Vietminh attack weakened garrison of Japanese troops due to ongoing conflict in the Pacific, so they use it as opportunity to strike . You can give Vietminh a mix of French, American, Chinese, and Japanese equipment, because they really used anything they could get their hands on. This video was great though.

You giving the French colonial forces too much credit, they already ran to Thailand by then, the only forces who was actively fighting the Imperial Japanese are the Viet-Minh and their counterpart in Lao and Cambodia. The collaborators troops, what left of them in Indo-China, already ditches the French and joins the Imperial Japan because the Vietnamese Nationalist with landlord and upper class background, has great admiration for Japan as their senpai, even now.

Excellent video, I subscribe to your channel, in World War II the European colonies in Asia were practically left to their own devices due to the conflict in Europe, French Indochina was brutally attacked by the Japanese imperial forces, the Japanese did not respect the agreement that It arrived with France, they trusted this and the French colonial army who could have organized more men for the defense with effective attacks, in addition to that, they needed more anti-aircraft and anti-tank weapons and a better maritime defense, since the Japanese also attacked by sea ...but things happened and Japan militarily occupied Indochina...

Total lack of combat AI really holds this game back. The way the trucks keep driving after the lead vehicle is blown up instead of dismounting instantly, the way the vehicles keep creeping forward despite not being combat vehicles. The way the infantry close distance instead of prioritizing cover, fighting where they stand instead of repositioning. Completely undermines all the other attempts at realism, when the soldiers lack common sense. Suspension of disbelief can only carry so much. the AI are game breakingly bad.
@SturmFuhrerPK2 жыл бұрын
Not game problem. Things like these require lots of scripting. I will try to do that in the future.
@Fabrizio_Ruffo2 жыл бұрын
@@SturmFuhrerPK no, that is absolutely an oversight by the devs, this game isn't that old. Purely reactive conditional things like that shouldn't require player input at all. Dismounting from a transport when combat opens up should be the default state. The moment the AI identify a target, they should be triggered to dismount. Likewise, cover mechanics are a natural and essential part of the AI's existing programming. But their priorities are fucked, they don't seek cover fast enough, often enough, or at a long enough distance, leading to men sitting in the open taking fire. Different weapons as just a matter of animating shoot differently, there is no reason why they should use the same targeting prioritization. LMGs are suppose to prioritize coverage over accuracy. The purpose of the LMG and HMG is to suppress targets, killing it a secondary function. So the MGs should be firing as much as humanly possible when in a target rich environment. Again, going back to how the AI don't prioritize cover, this is how they end up overwhelmeted with too many targets, because they are exposed covering too wide of an arc. These are just the basics, of combat AI, that have nothing to do with RTS. You could script your way through all this, but don't beat yourself up for not doing it, this is supposed to be a game not a movie. You shouldn't have to go through all that trouble.

@@randomuser648 During WWII, Japan created an army and bureaucracy of natives in the occupied territories. Japan planned to establish a government of natives.
@randomuser6482 жыл бұрын
@@トンカラリン-y1y Lol, they sure did, however, they had as much control as they did before the occupation. The native figureheads were more or less puppets, hence they were referred to as puppet states. Second Philippines Republic, State of Burma, Provisional Government of Free India, Manchukuo, and more. - Second Philippines Republic: José P. Laurel, the puppet president, had little control as there had been a constant Japanese military presence in the country. Relinquishing the natives control over transportation, media and communication. Additionally, Japan would leach off of the country’s food, clothing, oil and other necessities. Also, why did 260,000 native Phillipinos, as opposed to only Japan’s 6000, decided to fight against the empire (tyranny)? Ask yourself that. - State of Burma: Aung San, the leader of the puppet state, was a communist, an ideology Japan swore to destroy, propagating to the Chinese to ally and destroy the communist. So why would they ally? Why would Japan install an Enemy? To only hold ground and assert their control over foreign branches of government. In this case, Japan desired the closing of the Burma road to win the War in China. The BIA was solely composed of poorly disciplined bandits, so rule only went to the group with the bigger, a tyrant to another. Later, Aung San realised Japan’s mal-intentions and negotiated to cooperate with the allies to ensure the country's independence, which worked better than Japan’s Burma. Empire of Vietnam, a state that had been constantly leached by Japan. The infamous North Vietnam famine of 1945 caused about 1-2 million deaths, a primary cause was the exploitation by the Japanese to attain extra rice to fuel their war machine. Plus, the Vietnamese natives, such as the Viet Minh who were already persecuted by the French, helped the allies fight against Japan. Manchukuo: From 1935 to 1945, Kwantung Army senior staff officer Yoshioka Yasunori (吉岡安則) was assigned to Puyi as Attaché to the Imperial Household in Manchukuo. He acted as a spy for the Japanese government, controlling Puyi through fear, intimidation, and direct orders. This is a quote from Pu Yi 1988. With Wang Jingwei, his collaboration army was made up of mainly bandits. The Korean Empire: This one is interesting, not to be confused with the Joseon, the Korean Empire was Korean-ruled before Japan had annexed the peninsula. The kingdom was on its way to modernizing and opposing popular denialist beliefs. Japan eventually installed a pro-Japanese puppet to the throne after threatening the royal family, later having the puppet accept the terms of annexation. I haven’t even covered the severe atrocities committed by the Japanese in such native lands. Go on! Keep spewing your lies! I’ve dealt with your kind before.
