Sturmtiger (German: "Assault Tiger") was a World War II German assault gun built on the Tiger I chassis and armed with a 380mm rocket-propelled mortar. The official German designation was Sturmmörserwagen 606/4 mit 38 cm RW 61. Its primary task was to provide heavy fire support for infantry units fighting in urban areas.(wikipedia)

OMG, I'm an aircraft guy, but based on the insane amount of detail on this kit I might have to convert to armour. At first I thought the second figure might be Rommel however as the Sturmtiger didn't enter service until August 44, that couldn't be possible as Rommel was ececuted after the attempt on Hitler at his Wolf's Lair 20 July 1944. The awesome aspect of the kit is that you can BUY it. And its not a bad price, I can save my milk money :-) I wonder if that means they are going to start marketing again. Thanks for another great video. Your new logo and work station are great too.
@MilitaryVehicleReviews3 жыл бұрын
I know right! Same here. When I saw this thing I was super stoked because I am all about the DETAILS (as you can hear me say about 1,000 times in this video haha). Thanks for the info and for always watching!

You gotta get into RC Flying, super cheap 1/48 scale planes that fly so sick, airbrushed filthy nasty They leave static Modelling in Their propwash. Your probably already into Them. I'm so far into it, an it Rules. 1200mm BF-109s, Mustangs, F-86 EDFs, F-16s that pull over 140Kms, So Sick and not much more than a Tamiya kit. Beauty Thunderpig, great times while everyone is scared of the biggest Hoax Ever. Oo-Yeeeeeee!
@c123bthunderpig3 жыл бұрын
@@jonoedwards4195 Yes, I've been thinking about that too. Model shop I have access too is mostly RC, but carries high end plastic kits and some supplies. The power plants are amazing. Way back in the day I flew .049 engines on static line , only control was elevator by moving grip up and done. I get out and watch RC clubs fly on weekend's, it is amazing , not to mention they have miniature runways. Doing both I could have a rainy day in to build and sunny day to fly But these 1/32 kits are cool too, Military Vehicle guy is a lucky dude. Thanks for suggestion.

The only known combat footage of this beast was in the Warsaw Uprising. It is shown firing on a building and destroying it! There were munitions Schleppers that accompanied these with additional rounds. The Maybach HL230 P30 was used in the king tigers, Panthers, Tiger 1's and Jagdtigers. It was a reliable engine that was one of the largest gasoline motors produced at around 1300 cubic inches and 600 bhp. The tanks that it was used in were way to heavy for these and that is what caused the problems One interesting fact was that the big shield around the exhaust pipes on the tiger and sturmtiger was to conceal the exhaust which glowed red hot because the engine was taxed to such a degree that the exhaust would glow making it very visible to the enemy .
