The fact that Matt is lowkey a boyband fan lol... like he doesn't like 1D but can name a song or two and the members and knows enough about them to argue the BTR is better, it kills me. Also, I sometimes forget that other people heard their music and so I see 1D as a very specific generation thing but like my gran knows their music because of the radio so the triplets knowing their music makes sense since radio was bigger than Spotify in like 2011/2012, It seems so weird that they know who 1D is but it is kind of cool that 1D spanned like gender norms and stuff... Also, Matt has a lot of good points about the band members but 1D is WAY better than BTR lol
