Just so you know SPDIF/coax, stands for Sony Philips digital interface format and yes it’s a world wide plug but not all equipment has that socket. The one main socket it’s missing is the HDMI one, which is a shame 😐

I think you’re absolutely right about its pronunciation, although I’m northern, British and extremely stubborn, I’ll do my best to change how I pronounce it 😜. And yes I totally agree, their products seem to be top quality for such a good price!

I have a vu 55 4K TV and I am finding to difficult to setup the audio.. the SPDIF cable which was shipped with the product, I can't find any port for that on TV. Then I used optical, but the downside is it, takes away the volume control from TV remote and I have to walk to speaker every time I have to change the volume. Then I tried aux, with that the problem is TV speaker is prominent audio source and very low volume come from speaker, also the two sources can easily be distinguished.. any advise what to use and how to connect TV and speaker?

Yes, as I said in my review it is a limitation of the device that it can’t be controlled wirelessly. If you are doing it through Aux/RCA- check the settings on the tv and make sure it’s set to only play from the speaker connected and not the tv speakers. I actually connect mine through bluetooth to the TV, as there’s less cables involved and gives me control from my tv remote. Hope this helps? Dont forget to like and subscribe! 🌞👍

This soundbar is great only as the blutooth speaker for the small home parties or if you have garbage speakers in TV. I have Samsung UE7052 which has quite loud speakers (louder than this Xiaomi Soundbar) and I`m not impressed by the Xiaomi Soundbar. Only props are for quite better bass.

Like I said in the conclusion- it’s an okay soundbar, but under 70 quid, it’s at a great price for it in my opinion!
