Just got the rush 600 2018 in white. My first sled. I rode with few riders in the mountain twisties and deep creak ruts and up solid ice with out studs or carbides. The sled performed well over table top Humps very well. The sled is fast stock. The sled is easy to turn around on narrow connecting trails. Great review. I will have to upload a videos of my sled riding from New England drag way.

My first XCR was a 1995 XCR 440. It had 85 Hp which was enough for the sled as it did not weigh a lot. Great trail riding machine, but required jetting changes too often to compensate for temperature changes.Kind of a pain. Was not long before I moved up to a Xc600, !998 I think. 120 Hp a lot faster than the XCR

If you are going to bring back the XCR name you need to bring back the Triple.

davidbrennan5 I see you thought of that.

I thought the XCRs of the 90s, 2000s were triples...?

Mason Wengeler well they should, dammit! If not for the speed, just the sound would work.

After owning a polaris sportsman 1000xp..... ill only buy yamaha till the day i die. If its always broken i find myself not wanting to ride because i know its gonna break and ill have to waste time fixing it. Since buying my 07 phazer 500 4 stroke in 07. Ive changed the skies and slides. Did my yearly oil change and put gas in it. Nothing nothing else has needed fixing. My dad has a kodiak 450 with 28 000km. Only repairs us a new battery and upgraded to mudlite xtr tires. It still has original belt and spark plug in it. That is quality. Ive spent close yo 4500 bucks o parts alone to keep the 1000xp on the trail. Sad thing is i ride with my wife at max 30mph. We tired up to go around the mud holes easier. There is no lift kits on either bike. Her bike is a 400ho. And all my repairs came right after the 6 month warranty period was up. I grew up with over 60 DIFFERENT RELIABLE YAMAHAs in our family. I feel like a complete FOOL for buying a polaris.

My first Polaris snowmobile was a 1984 Indy600, then a 1995 XCR440, 1998XC600, 45th anniversary limited edition XC700 which had an electronic rear shock, handlebar switch adjustable from hard to soft ride which was a unique feature for the time,A2000 RMK700,and my last purchase was a 2006 Switchback900 with a 144 inch track and 151 claimed HP.It was a blast. I never had any problems with the sleds except for the 1984 indy. I blew a few pistons on it, But that was during some top speed runs WOT My bad. I did buy I polaris atv and had a lot of problems with it also. That one is gone and I have a 2014 Kodiak450 which runs like a charm. Very reliable and a 2017 Can Am Renegade XMR 570 which is a riot for mudding. I think a proper gentle break-in is the best thing you can do to increase the reliability of any motor,a along with frequent oil changes
