I was at XI and also Fan Fest the day before. I met Chris Candido and Tammy walking around Fan Fest, and Chris told me he was about to debut on TV. They had a booth set up for commentary, so a friend and I did it. We got to commentate a 5 minute clip of the ladder match from WM10 with none other than "Gigolo" Jimmy Del Ray of the Heavenly Bodies, and we got a copy on VHS. Wrestlemania itself was a blast. Beforehand, when we got the tickets, they told us we would get to keep the commemorative chair. What they didn't tell us was that we wouldn't be able to take the actual chairs we were sitting in. At the end of the show we all realized the chairs were zip tied together, and it was pure chaos as everyone attempted to pull the chairs apart. The chairs were actually sent to us and I got mine like a month later. Good times.

I remember my Math teacher turning on ESPN and seeing footage of the Wrestlemania workout. Seeing all these WWF wrestlers on ESPN in their goofy ring outfits was very surreal to me at the time.

I recall thinking 'So who the hell is Lawrence Taylor?'. WWE have long suffered from catering to their local American market only. And Jim Ross' attention to details and expansion of the characters is part of what makes Jim Ross the greatest wrestling commentator ever. It's fascinating how disrespectful Bruce has become towards Jim Ross since he signed with AEW. I will agree that Diesel singing christmas carols was horrible.

Agreed. It wasn't Jim Ross' idea to turn cool heel Diesel into a white meat babyface, he just tried to give the character some credibility by talking up his athletic background. Here's my re-booking for what WrestleMania 11 should've been, based around the feuds and the storylines that were going on at the time, with the roster we've got: 1.The New Headshrinkers (with Capt. Lou Albano & Afa) vs. The Blu Brothers (with Uncle Zebekiah) [These two teams had a brief feud on a couple episodes of Wrestling Challenge in February and March, so it makes sense for them to get on this card for a quick PPV payday, with the Blu Twins getting the win.] 2.Jeff Jarrett (with The Roadie) vs. Razor Ramon (with The 1-2-3 Kid) for the WWF Intercontinental Championship [We're keeping this match in, and you can still have Razor win by DQ.] 3.Davey Boy Smith & The Smoking Gunns vs. Irwin R. Schyster, King Kong Bundy, & Nikolai Volkoff (with Ted DiBiase) [Just get six guys on the card, and Bulldog and the Gunns get the win when Bulldog pins Volkoff with the running powerslam; Charles Wright still makes his WWF return, but as Papa Shango instead of Kama the Supreme Fighting Machine, and he can still feud with Taker throughout the spring and summer of 1995, culminating in their casket match at SummerSlam that year as Taker vs. Shango instead of Taker vs. Kama; imagine the back-and-forth mind games between these two.] 4.Bull Nakano vs. Alundra Blayze for the WWF Women's Championship [This match was held on Raw the night after, but it would make more sense to have it take place at WrestleMania with Alundra winning back the title; then you can have Bertha Faye make her debut the next night on Raw by attacking Alundra during an interview.] 5.Lex Luger vs. Tatanka (with Ted DiBiase) in a steel cage match [This feud had been building since SummerSlam and Survivor Series in 1994, so the blow-off should happen here; after the match which Luger wins, DiBiase berates Tatanka, who tries to attack him, only for Luger to return to the ring, beat down Tatanka, and shake hands with DiBiase, thus cementing Luger's heel turn so he can feud with Diesel, Shawn, Bret, and Taker.] 6.The 1-2-3 Kid & Bob Holly vs. Hakushi & Yokozuna (with Jim Cornette & Mr. Fuji) for the WWF Tag-Team Championship [I think Kid and Holly should've had a longer title reign after winning at Royal Rumble 1995, and Hakushi would've also been a suitable partner for Yoko; that way, Kid and Hakushi can exchange high-flying moves, while Holly and Yoko exchange stiff punches, kicks, and chops; we can still have Hakushi and Yoko win the titles here, and then go on to In Your House #1 to defend against the Gunns.] 7.The Undertaker (with Paul Bearer) vs. Bam Bam Bigelow (with Ted DiBiase) [Since Taker is feuding with the Million Dollar Corporation, it makes sense for him to battle their crown jewel, who would obviously be Bigelow; obviously Taker would win, but he and Bigelow can still have a decent big man match.] 8.Diesel (with Lawrence Taylor) vs. Shawn Michaels (with Sycho Sid) for the WWF World Championship [Instead of wrestling Bigelow, L.T. can be in Diesel's corner to counter Sid, and Vince gets the celebrity coverage that he wants.] 9.Adam Bomb vs. Kwang (with Harvey Wippleman) [Just a quick toilet break match to cool down the crowd between Diesel/HBK and Bret/Owen, and allow Bomb to get the win so Kwang can disappear off TV and come back as Savio Vega at In Your House #1.] 10.Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart (with Bob Backlund) in a No DQ match with Roddy Piper as the guest referee [I know that this match was held on the Raw prior to the PPV, but it should've occurred here; also, I don't have Backlund in a match on this card because his victory over Bret at Survivor Series 1994 was just a chapter in the Bret/Owen feud; the finish could involve Backlund trying to interfere on behalf of Owen, only for Piper (who would be the Old Generation guy sticking up for the New Generation) to knock Backlund the holy hell out, and Bret manages to make Owen submit to the Sharpshooter, thus bringing an end to their year-long feud.]

I agree with Bruce on Diesel. Imagine if they had talked about Undertaker's history prior to becoming the Undertaker. "Good old Mark was a college basketball player and football player before he became the grim reaper that we know as the Undertaker"...... pffffffft! That destroys kayfabe completely. Jim Ross could be such a tool sometimes. Fans are interested in the DIESEL character, not Kevin Nash. If he was going to have a history, it should have been a KAYFABE history like being a bouncer, or being a personal bodyguard. Make something up that sounds good and stick with it. In WCW they actually did break kayfabe and started referring to Hulk Hogan as Terry. WCW was dead shortly thereafter.

This is so tough for me. I’ll always have great memories of WM11 cause it was the first real mania I remember watching as a kid all the time on the vhs tapes. But the actual card/roster is brutal at this point. Wasting Bulldog/Luger in a nothing tag match then Owen demoted to tag titles after his performance at 10 was disappointing, just when you thought Owen was getting the push he deserved Vince loved pulling the rug out from him. JJ vs Razor was pretty good. Taker/Bundy sucked, wasting Bret with Backlund was dumb considering what else he could have done to make the card better, HBK looked disinterested half the match with Diesel, and LT/Bam Bam wasn’t a bad idea but it was how you’d expect a non wrestler in 95 to perform and never should have been main event.

How is the new Doom? I love the 2016 one and I was so amped up for the new one but I heard the difficulty and learning curve was through the roof. Along with limited ammo and frustrating boss battles. Thoughts?

@@deepblue8143 Ok, ....Bong hit!!! ......At first i thought it was a downgrade visualy but atleast they took care of the texture pop-ins with this one and actually think its a powerhouse graphics wise is some areas. It's got a visual flair that you can get behind. And quite the display of Manchild imagery in the background like huge hulking warriors in stone and metal fighting huge mega demons (Been a fan of DOOM since the 90's and couldn't tell you what characters in the lore they are but you'll see what i'm talking about) And also at first i hated the limited ammo cuz i love doing everything in with my super shottie but as you power your weapons up and equip runes and up your praetor suit you'll be addicted to the gameplay in no time. I love 2016 DOOM but im equally loving the hell out of this if not more. And it feels hella good to rip chunks out of these demons. The levels are huuuge btw. I started playing the game early this morning and im at the beginning of the 4th level right now. The cinematics i was standoffish about being its Doom and i wanna kill shit but im digging anything with DoomGuy in it. The game is always showing you something. Not to mention the endless amounts of unlockables, collectables, and cheats to acquire. Tell ya dude, a quarrantine to a gamer is not bad at all lol. Afterthought: I can''t wait to play this with no HUD and enable the infinte ammo cheat, fuck yeah!

@Heath Vance Not OP, but the game is definitely worth the money. As long as you understand the ammo mechanics, you'll be fine. The game forces you to use different weapons for the most part, as some will be better against specific enemies as others. All in all, get it.....definitely worth the $60. I've owned it since it launched and I've already gotten my money's worth.

This was a shitty wrestlemania, but Shawn Michaels vs Diesel was a great match was definitely the redeeming factor of this wrestlemania I did not care for the Bam Bam Bigelow vs Lawrence Taylor match because I do not like Bam Bam Bigelow and I am a wrestling fan not an NFL fan did not care for Lawrence Taylor and I’m not from New York not a giants fan HBK vs diesel was the best match. I would rewatch it over and over again

I thought this was a great show. Wrestlemania 11 according in 1995 when it was a down year for WWE. I found the performance by Salt and Peppa on KZbin and it was actually a damn good performance, dont know as Conrad said why it was cut off but here is a link kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpuYcpaipdVogsU. I thought Bret and Bob continue the storyline from Survivor Series 94. So like Bruce, there was a storyline and I thought the match did great. I was thumbs up about the show. The only stinker to me was Undertaker vs King Kong Bundy. That was the biggest pop corn fart in church. It was funny hearing Bruce and Conrad argue about that match. I remember in the Shawn Micheals 94-95 episodes Vince was stubborn about turning Shawn face. Its like if it wasnt his idea at first, sorry who the hell gives a damn. Vince was stubborn then as he is now.
