After a few years of deep diving into Kibbe, the essence system, etc. it makes so much sense to consider astrological placements in the curation of personal style. I have Venus rising in Sagittarius, and my sun +four other planets in Capricorn, so I focus on those two signs a lot. Thinking about how to honor my moon in leo with a touch of glam. My chart is very earth/fire heavy. Searching for celebs by ascendant worked really well - I immediately connected with Zoe Kravitz who is already on my list of style icons.

Oh I love Zoe's style as well & makes sense to have her as a muse when your chart is very fire+earth, her Sagittarius grunginess with her carefree/down to earth feel is perfect!

I just watched your video about finding your personal style. You talked about how you choose your jewlery, fragrance, etc. How you choose things that mean a lot to you, bring you back to sweet, beautiful and important memories. It's because of your Cancer moon! Nostalgia galore! Cancer rules the 4th house which is about the roots, our childhood, memories, home and things that bring us comfort and meaning.

my biggest style muse has got to be alice glass and i just realized that she has the same sun sign as me (i am a virgo sun and rising also). her earlier style resonates with me and i think its a good example of what the virgo energy looks like when its expressed in a darker manner. her outfits are simple and minimalistic yet punky and edgy and i love that.

Thats a good combo! I'd look into famous Cap risings that you resonate with and mix it with Sag risings, a lot of Sag energy tends to take inspiration from 90s grunge or a carefree / edgy subculture

No you're absolutely right! My favorite aesthetic is Corporate Goth and I always say Capricorn energy works with it so well but Ive also upsetted some Capricorn risings because its a stereotype 😭 but I agree, Caps have amazing CEO energy but just boss energy in general (think Joan Jett whos a Cap rising)

LOL.... looking at your Pinterest board I'm really more in tune with the Sag style board versus the Libra .... I do have the playful, free style of an air sign in general so I guess that how it show up in my style! love your content

I love this! 👏🏻 It would be interesting to add another layer like the ruling planet of each sign. For example Mars is the ruler of both Aries and Scorpio. Venus is the ruler of both Taurus and Libra. I have a libra moon. leo sun, mercury, North Node (7th H). With Aqua rising, neptune, uranus, South Node. My MC is sagittarius, and scorpio mars (10th H), Virgo venus (8th H). Honestly i love very scorpio looks, more innocent libra/virgo combo looks that are more sweet, and more quirky looks like retro futurism. I love so many aesthetics, so its hard to kinda pick just one.

I find it actually very common in Aquarius Risings or most Air risings but definitely Aquarius to never pick one style; Aquarius energy is experimental, always striving for independence and individuality in expression so honestly embracing that is key and using your Libra moon influence as a base but allow for changeable elements to come in & out of your life. Its like what I do with my furniture, I keep all of it black & velvet but allow for change by changing up the pillows/plushes/lighting etc because my Aries venus always needs fast pace change & a refresher every month or so

😂 mine is sun pisces , moon aries , mercury pisces , venus aries. Im a pisces and aries sandwhich, i dont look to anyone for inspiration or guidence especially style, i just like to do it myself ,in my own creative way which is very reminiscent of my rising sign Libra. Although, i do relate to rihannas style, she expresses herself in a very similar way in her style as i do. We also share sun in pisces and you mentioned in the TR video she has a lot of aries and i do too and i have also been reffered to as a trend setter which is very aries. I never understood why I relate so much aesthetically to cancer when I have no cancer in my chart. Then I discovered I have cancer north node in my first house, not sur if that IS where it's coming from, but it sort of makes sense.

I have my sun and rising in Sagittarius, my moon in Aquarius and I feel like my soft, ethereal side is really dominant in my personality and appearance. It is hard to connect with the „fire-y“ romantic side, despite it being a big part of my essence (typed 20% dramatic, 20% ethereal, 20% romantic, the rest is classic, ingenue, natural). I am really looking to bring out that magical, mesmerizing edge. If you have any inspiration on this, that would be great! My big style inspiration since forever is the 70s rock and glam Mick Jagger. And MK and A Olsen fantastic Met Gala looks.

Jeff Goldblum! Totally quirky and wonderful. Some of his outfits are a bit over the top for me, but it's so much fun! I wear similar Hawaiian shirts, and I love his style in sunglasses. 😄 I'm pretty sure he's the same color season as me (winter), and possibly similar essence blend, natural and gamine, though I think someone said he's dramatic. My gamine lets me feel good wearing "men's" clothing. 😉 He has the same rising and moon signs as me (cancer asc, sagittarius 🌛). I'm binge watching your old videos. Lots of great style tips. 😊👍👍

I'm Aries, Virgo ascendant and Aquarius Venus, but my signature sign is Piscis. Almost half of my birth chart is water. I'm also a SN deep winter, so the Pisces Venus style suits me very well. In conclusion, I feel like I'm something of a deep-sea siren! 😅 Your videos have helped me a lot with all this topics ❤

This was super interesting! It was especially interesting because I am Pisces dominent and you went more in depth with the Pisces placements. It’s a bit difficult for me because my chart is very much Pisces and Aquarius. I have a Pisces stellium (sun, Venus, and mercury) in the 1st house, and Aquarius stellium (moon, Uranus, Neptune, and Jupiter) in the 12th house. So Pisces/12th house energy is prominent as well as Aquarius. All the other signs take a back seat. So it’s hard for me to determine the 3rd sign I resonate with. I don’t even feel I resonate much with Aquarius except for my need to be unique. Personally I prefer wearing darker colors. But most of my style muses I don’t share any placements with. And most are all cancer moons! It’s very weird I have no cancer in my chart. I’m still trying to find my Pisces and Aquarius muses. Has anyone else used house placements to style themselves? I’m feeling like my 12th house/1st house energy is what I prefer to channel in style.

Which makes sense, I actually discourage using your Sun sign for style inspiration since the Sun is only a glimpse of you - your rising represents your 1st house of appearance, how others see you, and the sign you ascend to 🖤

Im an aquarius sun moon and venus and my rising sign is taurus. My chart is really air dominant 😅 1 aquarius, 2 libra and 3 is scorpio 🙂 and i do indeed dress differently than others. Hey! I just found an Interesting correlation in my chart and wanted to share! My rising sign is Leo, whose ruler is the Sun. My Sun sign is Libra, whose ruler is Venus. My Venus is in Sagittarius! I tried looking at celebs w a gemini moon at first but nothing rly clicked there, bc ultimately gemini's main trait is muteability and doesn't have a strong personality to build a style off of. But THEN, out of curiosity i looked at Sagittatius Venus and i found billie eilish and katy perry and tina turner and i was like OH !! Ye this is Something i can work with. I've a Lot of fire and air in my chart overall so i think i could Probably work with my rising-sun-venus triad for fashion? Bc my sun and venus are so closely linked, it makes sense they'd enhance each other right?

Oh absolutely! Because you're diving into your own traits, getting to know yourself & honoring things about you that have always been there (you're just getting to know them in a different way) For example, I was always ashamed of my super sensitive self (aka my Cancer moon) but after seeing those traits in other people with prominent Cancer placements, I started to realize I was being too hard on myself & there's a beauty in sensitivity and also that can translate into how I dress as well, taking pride in my soft femme self if that makes sense?
