I’m so thrilled to have found your channel. I am a classic style gal and coming into my 50’s now. I know I need to make some changes away from trendy items and back to classic items. I love that black mono chromatic outfit you look great in it. Also I want to say about the earrings: when I wear a necklace it draws attention to my turkey neck but when I exclude the necklace and wear the earrings vision is drawn up to my ears and off my neck. I’ve gotten rid of my short necklaces And wear either long very long necklace or just earrings

@@BethDjalali My mother did not have her ears pierced either. That was something that was cheap or something immigrants did. I never had my ears pierced until a few years ago when my husband said, I will never get you expensive diamond earrings if you don't get your ears pierced. You would only lose them. So I got my ears pieced and true to his word, for Christmas that year, he bought me diamond studs. :-)

But one we can't follow here is to layer up .something practically impossible in Brazil in the central and northern regions is to use overlap. putting on a single layer of clothing often makes us sweat a lot. and nothing less elegantt than a face shining with sweat or sweat stains under the arms, right? Great video. I have learned to love hats since we moved from Florida to Berlin. Hats are a necessity for winter but I have found I love them for summer sun too. Then there are windy days, rainy days, etc. We walk everywhere and I almost always wear a hat when outside.

I have watched many videos that use the phrase “look expense.” It always makes me smile, but there really isn’t another phrase that relays the meaning of “look expensive.” Well dressed and chic is usually associated with clothing and accessories that are expensive and unaffordable for the majority. We know that money can’t buy taste, but I think we all want to achieve the look that money can buy (without breaking the bank of course). 😊

Rather than think of the word expensive as meaning costing a lot of money, think of it as meaning looking thought out and well put together and clean and neat and attractive. Expensive does not necessarily have to indicate costing a lot of money. Think of it as the opposite of disheveled or sloppy. Think outside the box when looking at these things. You must be aware that you can purchase things that are inexpensive and yet are so well detailed and put together that you would say it looks expensive even though the price is low.

Thanks, Beth, well, as I have "no waist anymore", I prefer monochromatic looks, looking slimmer. I have a lot of wonderful statement earrings, but the mask...it doesn't work just now. Hats: same problem as Jackie Kennedy, too big head. It only works with men's sizes or Pill Boxes. Was wearing one to a white tuxedo to my last marriage in Vegas. Well.....17 years ago 😉. Hi Beth. I found your channel about three months ago. I’m a Texan living in northwestern Spain in a small city by the sea. We moved here from DC in 2019. I love your style ideas and here in my city people dress a lot like that. Rule of three. What I would like are ideas for dressing on the boardwalk everyday. We walk 3ks everyday by the beach and as a 65er, find it hard to define a live by the beach style. Remember we have two main seasons and rain. Any ideas?
