I can appreciate Cap. Pieces/burners are way too tedious for my taste and I never enjoyed doing them. Also I suck at them because I never bothered to learn. I've been doing nothing but throwies and tags for 9 years lol.
@sirreoser5668
@sirreoser5668 3 жыл бұрын
I always preferred to do tags and throws too, dayspots can be cool every now and then though, but spending 3-4 hours+ on something from sketch with zero light gets boring pretty damn quick. + Whenever I do something big, bright and colourful it gets buffed quickly, I bomb it full with tags or do a throw and it somehow survives weeks- months longer than my pieces, blockies or burners the majority of the time (unless it's a day spot).

Mad that Cap turned out to be revered by so many(a king to many OGs), it's the weirdest trip cos if you think about it even though Cap was destroying a lot of art he was in a sense keeping it almost the realist by 'going over' everything, getting mad 'up' and not begging friends, almost the definative writers manifesto (to some), funny old world, in the UK at that time there was a rumour that Cap was shot after the film exposed his identity so was interesting seeing him in the updated Style Wars

And yes, he belonged to a real gang in the bronx, he was actually a real outlaw compared to all those kids, who claimed to live the same outlaw lifestyle while trying to put rules on it. In fact, Cap was the one getting "capped" in the begining, because these people thought they could just cross some "white boy" who they preceived as a toy. He went to war with all thos people, their friends, and the friends of their friends. He survived to tell his story, and to this day, he is still remembered as legend, a king, a real badass mf.
