The fabric is not your typical activewear fabric, IMO. It's really soft and comfortable, not binding but still holds things together.

I've seen pants do that when you have your pants on backwards. The Mfg put extra fabric in the back and less in the front. So those pants you spoke of, were tight in the back and boofy in the front. Love the dresses and all. Nice.

On the wide-legged pants, I agree that the rise seems short. To my eye it also seems as though the thigh was a bit narrow for the style which exacerbated the bunch.

lol, it wasn’t difficult at all. The fabric is very stretchy, not at all stiff, but still does a decent job at compression. 😉

Some designers don’t realize that a petite has a longer rise. That’s counterintuitive, but usually true. When designing for plus sizes some designers put pleats in the front to give more room for a larger stomach area.

Hi Oralia the dresses are my fave. For me it seems most of the top will be cropped on my torso as I’m taller and bustier than you and the waist on the pants seem to be high rise which…. I will be battling pulling up and over either the big roll in my front or the even bigger roll in the back. 😊

I loved the red velvet dress on you. Both pants are a hot mess and make someone with a belly look worse. Not flattering at all. It wouldn't work on me either because I have a belly, too. Can a seamstress fix the rise?

I don't think so just because what's wrong them is too fundamental, if you know what I mean. They just aren't cut well and really just need to go back to the drawing board.
