Color combos for the green skirt: white, cream, navy, black. Maybe yellow? Anyway, that's off the top of my head... I didn't like the scuba pants. The rest were nice, although I'm with you -- I don't like faux suede. I like leather because it's breathable and stretches (hopefully not too much!) They were classy-looking, though. Good haul. On another note, Miss Kitty is restless today! What a cutie.

I'm glad you mentioned straight sizing vs plus/womens sizing. An 18 =/= an 18W. The fit is different. Most 18s in tops = an XL. I can wear a 16W or a straight 18 in pants/bottoms/skirts but I cannot wear a straight 16. Tops/jackets/coats must be an 18W (sometimes a 20W) And it varies by brand just to make things more frustrating. I ordered some high rise,wide leg cords from Gap in a 34 ( Ihad no idea how to order pants in their numeric system) Apparently that is a size 20 & the pants were a little too big. However, I liked the rise & fit thru the legs so I am going to have them altered (rise is often an issue for me) I also ordered a dress in XXL & it was way too big in the shoulders & bodice. I returned it. When I am able to go to a store in person I always grab my usual size & a size up & down from that. If none of them fit me right, I know they aren't cut for me or I get the size that fits best & get it altered. Taking in the waistband or shortening a hem is an easy alteration.

One tip for long-lasting pieces regardless of fabric: cool wash them, air dry them, and if possible handwash them.

The knit trousers, I can see, would be so extremely comfortable but that kind of material totally clings to my body as well. If I was a size 12, it wouldn’t really matter, but I’m about double that. 😢 it’s hard to find pants that don’t look terrible.
