The straight air no grab for the guinea pig jump is nuts - not that I would know, but seems like most do big slow 3's for more control with that much air time.

stayed up at falls creek for a season the year stlye wars was on, and trust me, that jump is WAY bigger then it looks on this video, i didnt hit it, but i was watching Horgmo hit it. The air they were getting was massive. Im going up to falls creek in like a week, they have 3 out of 4 terrain parks open at the momet.

@OneWayOut12 that's totally true! When I start hitting large jump I always overshot it and panic and wave my arms in the air which make me like 60-90 degree. It make me bail really hard on the landing. Doing Indie or other grabs make it much better on the landing as you do not try to "fly" in the air.

theres a clip of kazuhiro kokubu on youtube from his part in Draw the Line. and apparently the jump is 51m from lip to landing. thats the biggest jump ive seen.

People, Skiing rocks, its very much subjected to critsism from mass media, but it has come a long way in 10 years. Everyone still thinks only old boring fogies ski, but freestyle skiing has come very far.

no you did not understand wat i ment, im gonna try to not get into Physics here, but in laymen's terms it is imposible to keep control of skies when u land a jump when going faster than 100 with change kph because in order for skiers to even try to keep their skis straight the skis would need to be about 3 times longer and thus bieng impossible to control

First and foremost, be comfortable with the speed. If you can't control yourself at the speeds needed, you WILL panic. Also don't stiff leg, don't try and power the jump off the lip. On HUGE airs, try to ride flat off until you are comfortable in the air. Last but not least, try and stay relaxed and not flail your arms. What helped me through backfllips was actually GRABBING the board.

yeah the jump itself was 18ft high 120ft gap and 150 to clear it ridiculous, but have a look at dc mountain lab part 3 i swear that would have to be over 150 ft

yea, just calm down before you hit the jump... just stay still and have alot of confidense! Try to grap your board and you will not wave you arms in the air... The main thing is that you just have to stay as calm as possible!

Ive never really heard over 75 open to the public. Ive never gone over 70. 120 is insane. you don't have jumps like that at your resort. Think about knuckling that thing? or even just falling hard on the landing. Some sick tricks of a really nice/scary booter

Well compare their tiny little body to the huge gap they gotta clear when its in that above view. That is a big jump. May not be HUUUGGGEE but it is big, probably the same distance if not farther than Chads gap if they were sized up.

@retelmedia so i timed torstein's jump (helicopter shot) and it took him 2.3 secs from lip to land. and it comes to about 66kph. so if he was at 85kph before the jump, he lost about 19kph just from the transition? damn!!!
