Please make a contract for your unpaid work!! It’s so so helpful, I do it all the time for filmmaking and short film work. It’s that extra security plus a pretty good way of showing how much you value your own time and labour to other ppl :P

I really feel for you Chloe! Cancelling the day before is so unacceptable unless it's an emergency. The model should've kept to the schedule and turned down the other job- very flaky behaviour. Fun fact: I’m a sample making (seamstress) and we use the chainmail glove when we cut out patterns with an electric knife! It ensures that you don’t cut your hands! I think it’s so cool to see you style it and make it ✨fashion ✨

I really felt the heartbreak for this one the outfits you made were actually gorg especially with those charm bags and the spiked heels were serving 2013 business casual in the club in the BEST way I know you said you feel wrong taking in interns to help you but if I could I would jump at the chance to do something like that the experience alone would be so rewarding and yes it would be hard being unpaid but idk I just feel like I would be worth it as someone who hasn’t stepped foot in the industry whatever you do you will flourish and I will be happy to say I was here from the beginning 🩷❤️🩷❤️

ahh thank you so much!! I dabbled a bit during the pandemic but it wasn't for me really! Definitely was putting more time and energy than I was getting out and am more excited about other things but I definitely find this incredibly fun and have considered doing more wardrobe styling with clients one on one in the future and would surround that around second hand & vintage for sure!!
