I've read reviews where users say this Dyson Airwrap doesn't dry fast enough. It certainly does if you are in a rush and blast excess moisture out of your hair using only the handle with no attachments at the end. I tested that this morning. My hair is unruly, the hairs themselves thick and strong and with plenty of wave. Never known a hairdresser yet that could make it do what they want. LOL So, I have cut, coloured, and styled my own hair for decades which has saved me a fortune and certainly enough to buy the Airwrap. Learning to use the Airwrap is great fun and, like using computers, or driving, you soon get the hang of it. Or not. 😀 Can the Airwrap make my hair do what I want? Yes, when I learn how to use it properly. I keep using the thingies in the wrong direction. 😂

I have short/medium hair and adore my Airwrap! I can finally get stress-free salon looking styles at home, and without wrecking my hair. It’s also great for fringes/bangs - when mine grow out, I use the barrel to messily flick them out👌🏻🤩

I love this woman! I came here for a beachy wave/styling a bob with an airstyler tutorial. I just bought a Shark Flexstyle and it's been in its box for a week because I just didn't know where to start with it (ex-hairdresser too!). I'm still a bit uncomfortable with it but willing to persevere now I've seen a few of Mallory's tutorials. I really need to stop frying my hair with straighteners and this was my solution - buy heated tool that may cause a bit less damage!. Thanks Mallory :) x

I just stumbled upon your channel and I just got a new Airwrap. I’ve had my original Airwrap since it launched but this is significant enough of an update that I picked up and im glad I did. It is certainly more powerful than the original and the barrels are more user friendly(still a learning curve😂) My hair is collar bone length, so I consider it short. With the original Airwrap, I really couldn’t get the hang of the barrels and you had to remove the barrel to do the other side of your hair or hold it awkwardly but the one barrel makes it sooo much easier! Thanks for all the tips!!!

I skipped the blow dryer step and went straight to the smoothing brush. I dried my hair in 12 minutes which is so fast for my tightly coiled hair but my roots were damp. I can get my hair smoother with the round brush but it takes 25 minutes.

I can’t get my curls to stay longer than a couple minutes. And I have naturally curly hair that always holds curling iron curls, flat iron curls etc. can’t figure what why.

I have both. I bought the Shark because of the price difference. It was not great, brushes way too rough and worse than drugstore quality. Except the curling barrels were really good. I now have the Dyson and wish I had gone for it from the beginning.

My hair is long, its ends are dry and this tool doesnt work on dry type hair:)) based on my experience it makes the longs more smooth. So i will have a haircut and i will use a nice hair oil to keep the hair smooth. Otherwise it gives me frizz as my hair gets more dry with blowdrying:)
