Stylish Sunday: Church Outfit Ideas

Mrs.Berry, I had a situation a couple of years ago, with a lady that wore a raggedy coat to church and it too everything within me not to take my coat off and give it to her, because it was very cold outside. But what I did I brought her a coat the next week and pulled her aside and told her that I wanted to bless her, she was so very happy that I did it in private with out any,shame to her or feeling being hurt. We are blessed to be a blessing and there are ways to let those that in need without hurting their feeling. Now there are some you want be able to do this with, in that situation just tell the Pastor, that you have some clothing to donate and let them choose from the selection. Just my thoughts. ❤

I’m a greeter at my church and I find that a good conversation starter is to comment on visitor’s and member’s outfits. It just shows them that they are Noticed and welcomed. Especially with women, they put a lot into their outfits for church. For the visitors it puts them at ease and hopefully they’ll come back.

I had to contact you and tell you that I love your style for a very specific reason, we are basically twins😆. I am 71 yrs young, 6 ft tall and I wear my hair the same as you. I love everything you wear in all episodes. I never leave my house unless I am pretty😊. My nails are always done, jewelry is on always and my favorite colors are black and white with touches of bold bright colors. I can not afford all your prices all the time but I can match you style verbatim at a less expensive cost. Keep on doing what you do. Seniors don’t have to dress frumpy, classy is always in style👍🏽

I really enjoyed this video. You are an elegant woman, I really liked the polka dot outfit and shades of creme ensemble yes mamacita! Hiiii Debra! 😊❤ Now sis, this weeks episode is probably one of my all~time favorites from your channel thus far! (big smile 😊) Deb, I will (not) be able to pick 1 fav… In fact, I would wear all 4 ensembles just the way you styled them. All simply faaa~bulous. The polka~dot dress was, (to quote one of your sayings) “lovely lovely” …You’ve just gotta bring (her) back… maybe in the Spring with some pretty pastel colors??? …Nothing says “fresh & new” like all~things polka~dots, ya know DB? On the hunt these days for a vest with shoulder pads… (Great suggestion last week & on point too! Thx DB!) The beige BR vest has shoulder pads, just the right mount and is so good! I'm on the hunt for a suede and a nice leather one similar to that one. I love your style! Btw...I change my polish often and I use some zoya remover on small pieces of cotton rounds and let it rest on each nail with gel soak off clips for approximately 30 seconds or so (depending on the polish), and just apply a little pressure and swipe away from the proximal nail fold and voila...hardly no staining! 🫶🏾

@@DebraBerry I don’t use gel polish either Mrs. Berry but I use the clips to help apply pressure to the cottons with the nail polish remover because they help keep them in place. The gel soak off clips are mostly available where they sell nail supplies. I use red and dark polishes that used to be a pain to remove but now it’s a breeze…which is why I change colors so often.

Hi Debra! I completely agree with you about Ann Taylor. I walked into their store last week and browsed around. Let me tell you! The craftsmanship was terrible. Seams were falling out and the quality of fabrics was so cheap. Also, the styles they were offering were so old fashioned. I don’t get it? My old Ann Taylor items are really quite nice.
