It doesn't evaporate it just mixes with lava to make obsidian

I was flooding hell myself and noticed, that some little parts of water reach the obsidian i made and just disappear Or two huge oceans, during my world digging operating just evaporate while making a 10% obsidian of the power of theirs

I watched a playthrough of somebody beating Terraria *Calamity* completely underwater, so knew quite a bit of this stuff already, but this was still entertaining. Also, good job you for not putting water in the underworld, after he had loaded the water there (or something like that), the world was lagging so badly it ran at roughly 1 frame per minute.
