@@stynger I'll be there Sept. 12. I wrote over and over again that he'd ditch the Rough And Rowdy Ways stuff and get back to his catalog for this diverse national tour with other artists. As i said, looks like he'll change the set list nightly...which is great. Should make for a great live recording when it's all over, his voice is in fine form looking from here on youtube.

Thanks for this! Glorious but a little rough & rowdy indeed. Jim Keltner - tho he’s played with Bob many times over the years, & no doubt a most accomplished drummer, I do miss seeing & hearing Jerry Pentecost on the throne & his delicate, confident ability to hold it down with Tony & hit a Tom Tom to punctuate a phrase, and quietly support while holding down the beat.

Great to hear Bob not playing any rough and rowdy ways. A wee bit rough round the edges but it's the 1st gig and things will improve. Thanks for the upload stynger.

Yes, it was 74. We were very lucky - got seats on 4th row, center. Probably the best concert I've seen, along with early Springsteen and Janis. It's hard to believe he's still doing this. I'm 10 years younger and have a hard time walking around the grocery store. Certainly a legend!

A wonderful sentimental classic about brief and missed connections-in both senses of missed-that everyone can feel through their own experiences and so many fellow human beings not taking it into their ears, hearts, minds, and souls. I'm sorry. Monotonous. Might as well just do it with piano. Every song has the same tempo, throwaway vocal. Might as well be the phone book he's singing. I feel nothing. Other than the fascination with actually seeing him, I don't feel like he's saying anything. To reiterate: if he is, I don't hear it. Sorry. Still my hero.

It really is the roll of the dice when you go to any show it seems (but maybe Bob shows more than others because you get so many folks going just to check of a bucket list thing). Yapping idiots are really hard to ignore and can completely ruin a song or show. Some folks are completely clueless morons - something I am reminded of any time I go to a show or drive on a highway....
