Pycno needs a big buff honestly. I can't stand playing that character and losing to things I shouldn't really be losing to. Sure it could be a skill issue. But that doesn't take away from the fact that it needs a major buff.

Most Pycnos suck but completely agree with you. Even a good Pycno can barely beat a sty who dosen't just sit there. The Pathetic 50dmg bite and the removal of tap charges really makes it utterly worthless. Tbh I can't stand the people who defend it you can tell they just like it and can't accept its bad. BUT IT IS GREAT for content creating because it is LITERALLY nothing but a free win.

The only buff it needs imo is maybe an overall charge damage buff like pachy. Honestly even with the charge changes its still pretty strong. The charge damage doesn’t have to max out to be good 🤣its just whether you wanna waste a lot of stam for a lot of damage or not. I killed a maip with pycno a couple months ago and had a really close fight with an allo on Juniper as well. After all, if pycno is supposed to be like carno and be more of a small game hunter, I can see why it struggles a little more against other things its size, and it can still put up a good fight so I think its still good. I admit its obviously not as good as before but tap charging was also pretty overpowered. You barely even had to start the charge to get free 120 damage lol.

@@dtbrex08 Even still it weighed double as much as allo irl. Imo just because it hunted small game dosen't mean it should be defenseless. It isn't terrible but charge is also very dodgable and counterable(if you are bigger)

The pycno in this video just facetanked so Idk why people are bringing up the pycno nerfs with this video lol, this pycno literally didn’t even use charge.

Imo charge is overrated and pretty easy to counter if you aren't bigger but at that point they are eventually gonna make a mistake and take severe damage. If you are small it is very easy to dodge and you can charge an attack at the same time and sorta nullify the charge or just charge at them or away. Still if you are skilled enough you could dodge the charge, make them waste their stam, and then chase them down after and kill them. I know Pycno is good at killing people who aren't skilled but dasp can try to charge BB and make them cancel their charge or possibly get BB.

I hate the fact that people’s excuse for pycno being so weak is the fact that it hunted “small game” so? What you gon do about it? Is it the pycno fault that it was made in Brazil with juvenile sized adult sauropods no also it has battle experience with big carnivores such as other pycnonemosaurus, un described megaraptor and a giant 1.5 ton or more terrestrial crocodilian also I don’t think a almost 4 ton or a 4 ton pycnonemosaurus or maybe even more should be losing to a 1.5 ton or 2 ton allo 💀

True Pycno is so weak its hard to kill an sty even when your good if they don't just sit there. Thats like saying "oh the reason you caught that Sturgeon is because they suck up small fish XD." or " Snow Leopards are small(er) game hunters than tigers so they should be weak." or oh" Whales are weak because they hunt small krull." (even when humpbacks are the only creature known to scare off orcas with there flippers) The one thing I CAN rely on Pycno for is being an easy fight and making good content XD.

Pycno can still fight things like dasps and allos. If it is a small game hunter I think its doing better than that then lol because it can still fight things its size. I just think people don’t play it enough nowadays so its harder to see that. I can see why people hate its nerfs but I personally just think its still good.

It can only fight them if they aren't good from my experience ive fought good Pycnos and they have ALWAYS lost against me if I was the same size.

@@Claudia-hu5bq maybe thats intended though. If it is a “small game hunter,” it should be a little more difficult to take on things your size or heavier. And you can still kill allos. I got a good allo to 1 shot not too long ago. Maybe my opinion on it will change but as of right now I still think pycno is good, or at least not terrible.
