I was a kid when this came out. Naturally any song named "Renegade" will automatically attract the attention of a 12 year old me. And then add in the hangman, gallows and wanted man with killer keyboards, guitars and drums and unique vocals (American QUEEN?) and I was sold. I got to see the original lineup on their last tour, when Pat Benatar opened up for them. Great show! You should try "Blue Collar Man", "Grand Illusion", "Foolin Yourself" or "Too Much Time on my Hands", all solid radio hits.

An old favorite. It was Easter 1979 in Upstate NY that I first heard this song. When we were kids we used to get one or two gifts for Easter, and my sister got The Grand Illusion and Pieces Of Eight albums and we listened to them constantly. I was 14. In the springtime we always cleaned out the garage thoroughly, put down cheap carpeting, huge screen windows at the garage door so we could open it up in the summer, and we'd always have a stereo and turntable set up. I just remember being out there cranking up those Styx lps. God, I miss those carefree days.
