Nope, there are very few singers from the seventies who can still sound like they did at 20. Shaw never abused his voice, always singing properly without trying to force too much distortion into his vocals. His vocal chords have held up in an incredible way.

Feel so lucky to hear fantastic concert by STYX , June 9, in Irving, TX. This Tommy Shaw song is fantastic and timeless and he sings beautifully. Love Tommy's songs the best. I was a teen in 76, but just started following them again.

I'll probably get deleted for saying this here but I'm loving the Dennis Deyoung versions of the Tommy Shaw songs sung by Dennis' guitarist August Zadra. To me he sounds more like Tommy than Tommy himself. You should check them out.
