I have no one to teach me embroidery. I'm learning on my own. My teachers are the videos of the masters of Suzhou Embroidery and the other styles of Chinese Embroidering. I am ruined. I am spoiled by this kind of embroidering. Western style embroidering is so crude by comparison. I continue watching, studying, learning and to get more inspiration to learn about this gorgeous form of art and craft. I began studying and trying to learn the 2 handed technique of sewing embroidering stitches. It was confusing until my hands learned how to send and receive the needle through the fabric. Now I understand its value and the basics of how wonderful it is to embroider with both hands. I will NEVER be anywhere near as good as even the beginners, and I will NEVER achieve the level of the true Masters of this craft. But thanks to videos like this, I am inspired to try. But I am disappointed. I went to the website after subscribing. It is troubling and disappointing because there is no content. The only thing there is this single video and nothing else. Why isn't there anymore than this?

There is a book called "Chinese Embroidery: An Illustrated Stitch Guide" by Shao Xiaocheng. The book shows how Chinese embroidery is done. Not only does it teaches different embroidery techniques, it also lists the necessary materials and how to prepare them such as putting the fabric into a frame or hoop for embroidering, transferring patterns onto the fabric and how to divide silk threads into multiple strands.
