Excellent video. My old Mini has twin HS4. Need to know what to do with this little pipe behind the fuel entrance tube. ...

supposed i had done some mods inside my engine such as port and polish and piston oversizing, is it necessary to lean out the mixture ? or richen the mixture? what are the signs that my engine is running lean? i notice that if i reach a higher RPM say at about 5,000 RPM, i begin to hear rattling noises and my car hesitates to accelerate further like a loss of torque, it seems like the fuel is cut from my engine. what can be the problem?

If I were you, I'd invest time and money getting your car on a rolling road to make sure that your air-fuel ratio is right where it should be. You engine is now breathing more efficiently, so if personally try adding a little more fuel (richening the mixture) in measurable adjustments ( one or two complete turns of you mixture adjusting nut or screw. This way you can always return the carburettor to its original setting. Second to that, you could invest in a colour tune and try getting the mixture right from there kzbin.info/www/bejne/lWWcqoyshdh7hqs You could also try a different carburettor needle as the fuelling demands will be different. Hope this helps. Give me a message if you need any more help

Thanks Mate ! i'm planning on changing my carburetor. it looks like it's not doing its job properly, by the way my carburettor is the "aisin" type the ones you find in japanese cars. and i can't access spare parts for my carburetor in our country. such a pity . but nice video! thank you for the lightening things up!
