Family Kuku: Be careful when letting monkeys roam alone at night regardless of whether it is near your home or not as strange things can happen to them. Getting bitten by other animals, bee and tick bites, etc. To treat ticks or get rid of them, whether on humans or animals this is what needs to be done: (1) you should have your hands covered because the ticks can latch onto you; (2) you should have vaseline/petroleum jelly as it will smuther the ticks (suffocate them); (3) ticks hate it and they hate warm to hot water or anything acidic like white vinegar; (4) you need to throw their clothes into the wash and bathe them both because the ticks can get all over your home and multiply rapidly so always check the clothes that the monkeys are wearing and (5) if stung by bees, you can use hydrogen peroxide (vet recommended it for my dog, when he was alive and it worked immediately) and find out if your monkeys are allowed to ingest something called "benadryl" as it will prevent any allergic reactions (can be taken orally or you can buy the cream). However, please check with veternarian/doctor first.
