This was such a beautiful well put together video. I always see Su playing the big sister role more with Yui then with Moa, and I feel like it was bc of the environments they were in (not introvert friendly 😅). Whenever Yui would talk in interviews, Su would always give her encouraging nods as she's speaking and a little smile afterwards. Whenever they're waiting to do the outdoor interviews with the crowds, Su always seems to make sure Yui is close to her. The ending of the video made me sad, but I hope Yui is doing well.

After this video, I wonder if some reasons of Yui leaving Babymetal is because of hiding the anxiety to much, and that it got to became much for her. The few moments at the 15:37, and watching how they were always checking on her and the way she would distance herself and try to hide. I could be wrong, but that’s my guess. I just hope they still have contact with each other and that Yui is happy.

Bit late to this video but at 6:40 did she just collapse due to exhaustion from the gig or was this where her health issues were kicking in? If it’s the second one, that makes this clip even more heartbreaking but even more cute seeing Su run to her and care for her. I love these girls and they really are a true inspiration and have helped me through a lot of tough times with their music. Just so sad seeing even one of them struggle while they strive to be there for us but just shows that BABYMETAL and the fans truly are THE ONE

The greatest sign of how much she meant to Su and Moa is the fact that they wouldn't replace her. Even in a western rock band if someone has to quit the normal course of action is to get someone else -- Japanese idol groups are revolving doors; replacing members is standard procedure in the business the girls come from. But they weren't comfortable with having someone there _instead_ of Yui; the Avengers were as far as they would go in that respect. I guess she won't return as a band member but still hoping that she'll turn up with them at some point, doing backing vocals on a track (like "Babymetal featuring Mizuno Yui") or something.

As a 2020 Babymetal fan i was dissapointed to just finding them out now and while watching alot of babymetal interviews i came across an interview on when su metal was asked if it was difficult for them to go on without yui and etc. at first i was confused and shocked because i didnt know what was happening until i did more research and my curiosnes turned into a feeling of panic and a feeling of nostalgia because i didnt know yui left because of the fall and i think mental problems and she was also my favourite in the trio i would always smile when she talks or do something cute and i would also like to apologize for my grammar

I thought that they did not like each other, or more accurately, Su did not really like Yui. But this video say's otherwise. We will never know the real reason why she left. A work place injury is the most realistic answer and that is why she is still on the Amuse roster. But leaving for "Health Reasons" is a pretty vague term. She might of not got along with Su, and there are video interviews out there where su gives her side eye looks. Yui was also always pretty outspoken when she was younger in earlier interviews as a kid. There are also photos of Koba looking at her and she does not have a nice face showing, she does not look happy. They could still be best of friends though I doubt it. When you quit a job, you usually lose touch with the people you used to work with. If she did leave because of personal differences and problems, that would also explain why she is still on the roster. To shut her up. It's all conjecture though. On a reddit forum, there was some guy who said he was vacationing in Japan with his family, and his daughters went to see some J-pop act and he was outside the venue waiting for them to come out. And down the stairs came none other than Yui Mizuno and one of her friends. He looked at her, recognized her and she saw him and saw that he recognized her and they immediately turned around and walked back up the stairs and went the other way. Personally, her leaving was so cryptic, Amuse really screwed up with the story and they just shut it down. I think we will never see her again. :(

I hope I'm wrong on all of it. But, why nothing after 4 yrs? Makes no sense at all. Just because she is still under contract, does not mean you do not exist. For someone of her stature, there should be photos of her doing things with her friends or family out there. Just a little, there doesn't have to be a lot so they still have privacy. Most Artist's do. But, nothing. Zero zilch nada. I mean, what makes an 18 yr old girl leave a multi million dollar enterprise? The work place injury where she can no longer perform is the only logical choice where they end up still being friends afterwards etc. Just makes no sense at all. This is almost like how Jason Newstead left Metallica, and we find out years later that he was bullied / hazed mainly by James but all of them and he was sick of it. Metallica's mgmt screwed that up too.

@@blacklassie558 I am certain that Yui was indeed facing some health issues. If you pay attention to the (end of) 2015-2017 timeline it's highly noticeable that she went through a massive weight loss and suddenly escalated to gaining a lot of weight and a swollen body, plus you can see how weak and slow her dancing was in her final show with Babymetal. Idk if other reasons added to her departure, but health issues was for sure one of the main ones. As to why Su behaved differently with Yui, my personal interpretation isn't that she disliked her, but she was extremely cautious around her. As you can see in the video, Yui seems to be a very introverted, systematic and self-aware type of person. A perfectionist, so to say. And perfectionists are easily broken when they feel they're failing or being made fun of. I think Su, knowing this, felt the need to keep her composure and pay close, serious attention to whenever she was speaking, making sure that she was delivering the right words and have her back when needed. While with Moa it's easy to see she could just chill and be able to joke around. Extraversion is easily mistaken as likeability, and introversion as the opposite. At the end of the day, we don't know the level of seriousness Yui's condition was at (maybe still is), nor can we look inside their minds. But I made this video in hopes to bring some positivity and good-feels that did exist between them at some point, and I'd rather focus on that for now :)

This was SU-METAL's 20th birthday celebration concert, called "LEGEND S - BAPTISM XX" from 2017. It was a two-days show (December 2nd being the first day, and December 3rd the second one), and it took place in Hiroshima, her birthplace. This was the very first concert without Yui, and the only one with Su and Moa alone, without any backup dancers to fill Yui's spot.

@@tyreneca yeah, there's a lot of speculation around the three comets from Living Legend. I personally think it's just a symbolic way to close a chapter. As a way to say "we started this chapter as three, and we close it as three", but doesn't necessarily mean she's coming back for their next chapter. If Yui came back because she wishes so, I'd be more than happy. But I feel like there are no signs pointing to that being the case... All I'm saying is, let's try not to create illusions in our head just to end up feeling hurt :/
