Banana Porridge! This is a simple delicious dish you can make especially if you have those over-ripened bananas that you forgot about. Before you toss them, you can use them to make Sua Fa'i.
If you're in Oahu, Hawaii - come check out more authentic cooking at Toa Luau at Waimea Valley! Meet some of the cooking crew here and experience hands-on activities at the luau such as husking coconuts and getting fresh coconut milk. Cooking outdoors is a common daily activity in Polynesia. At Toa Luau you get to experience first-hand what that feels like. See it from start to finish how we prepare a umu (above ground oven) and use it to cook some delicious Polynesian dishes. You can also enjoy a wonderful Polynesian Luau Show and a delicious "ono" dinner as part of your visit. But that's not all, with your same Luau ticket, you get free access to explore the beautiful Waimea Valley park and waterfall. Toa Luau at Waimea Valley is a must visit here in Oahu, Hawaii and will not disappoint. Hope to see you here soon! Aloha!

Ta'lofa ! (I hope that I spelled it properly) Thank for showing us the way you make it there. My son enjoys watching you guys improvise and use nature to make and cook your food. It has really broadened his mind, and allows him to try to do the same. Thank you ALL for sharing this with us. I feel HONORED, privileged, and Blessed to be able to see this, and your family and friends. I always feel so happy after watching your videos. I hope that the Coronavirus has not had the affects it has had in the States. I wish many Blessings to you, your family, and friends....and I pray that everyone stays healthy, and are filled with love. Keep up the great work !!!
