I am just surprise because many of the Hmong from China speaks with a heavy Chinese accent. Mee Yang, on the other hand, speaks Hmong clearly with a similar tone like us Hmong American. You can never expect the unexpected.

For those of you who are not "understanding" what she is saying, you all have a lot to learn. The Hmong people have spread throughout the world and we all have our own ways of speaking, our own accents and everything. Her accent may be different, strong and maybe even "wrong" to us, but back at her homeland, that is probably how all of them speak, and if we went to her homeland, they would probably say the same thing about our accent, that it's wrong and that we are not true Hmong. As a matter of fact, our culture has spread so much, none of the many accents being heard today could even be the true way the Hmong people spoke thousands of years ago. Also just a note that our ancestors are originally from China so if anything, her accent is probably way more efficient than any other Hmong accent that is being heard throughout the entire world. Please do not hate on our Hmong peers and just enjoy the beauty in our culture.

I feel bad for her, for the two reasons below: 1. She go shafted of the crown at the 2013-14 Fresno pageant. (She was clearly the winner by far. Especially in the beauty department among others.) 2. She came to the this year's J4 event when there is turmoil within the community. (Maybe she may not be aware of this, but if she is then it is an embarrassment on our part, with her presence.)
