Google play has a device unlock app for T-Mobile specifically for pixel phones. My phone is a pixel 6 pro. I ran the software and it said your device is permanently unlocked, please restart for changes to take effect. I restarted the phone but it's still locked to T-Mobile!

Great video opposed to other videos where they don't actually break things down and they always lie in a video just to have views I actually did this myself but my SIM card was already active under another carrier the app just went through when I follow the instructions but thanks you for showing this as well as letting it be known it's much easier to unlock with so when it comes to this topic it's best to buy TMobile phones people

I followed instructions and it said device was unlocked. However, when I went into phone settings and selected permanent unlock it still says it cannot be unlocked.

The question is do it work? If not something else is wrong but I've done it with a sim card that was already active with another carrier and I was able to switch to a TMobile phone
