Coming out hard - top 10rap albums of all times from front to back In 91 when they first hooked up it was NEARLY impossible to get a song by a southern artist to be played outside the south; by the time they parted ways the south was on top of the rap game - that last statement was powerful for those of us from the first generation of rap going global

Man them days completely warped my expectations of Southern Music. Like we had ALL THAT going on, and you could still cross the other sides of the city and get Swishahouse in its infancy, Dope House in its beginning, Dj Screw and all them cats in their absolute prime, and even Pasadena had folks like Aggravated dropping work. We won’t even talk about Louisiana, Florida, Tennessee/Memphis. We were absolutely spoiled. It all sounded different, unique and anything you picked up was destined to be fire. God man, what days them were

@@dredocs exactly and here in Chicago they was dropping alot of music on features Newsense from the group dropped a solo album but the problem was it was all local this before internet and KZbin so unless you was here in the Chi you couldn't get there stuff and it hurt them nationally they never got a fair shot. The game missed out on many great Chicago artists Triple Darkness, Drama Ward, Qualo, etc.

My area was so anti-Bad-Boy in those mid-90’s that *til this day* I’ain’t e-n-o Ball & G were on Mase’s joint…s/o for mentioning Psychodrama, too. I’m from K-town, out west in the Chi🎯💪🏾💯
