+Liesl Sherer Maybe you're using a bit too much? When I used it a little bit did go a long way.... A good tip I recently saw on a youtube tutorial was a girl putting a bit of pomade on her comb and just lightly combing her rolls once they were in to get rid of flyaway hairs. I had another practice at mine tonight, getting better. If we keep practising we will get there. :)

Loved this look! I've been waiting for a tutorial on how to use this stuff so Ty so much! Just wish there were more close ups of how the hair is set. I'm a freelance part time vintage hairstylist based in the UK and I managed to get hold of some Suavecita. I didn't know you can use it with curling irons, and when I use it after the curl and brush out I find it quite sticky on my hands and it can catch little hairs and pull them out of the style. Sometimes I've used hairspray beforehand, do you think that's what causing the stickiness?

Hi. I know this is a longshot but would you be able to tell me what size of curling iron you used? I know using a small iron (say 3/4 inch) would produce a tigher curl but does that really matter for rolling purposes, as long as the curl isn't REALLY small? Also, what type of brush is best to brush out the curls with? Natural bristle or not, vented or not, shape, etc? Sorry, lots of questions! :) x

Nice pot, smells okay and nice texture, but don't like the Suavecita pomade. It dries hard, like a gel and makes my hair really hard to comb. A shame. Still looking for a high shine, soft texture product. I used to have one, but it's been discontinued.
