Are you accounting for the engine and drivetrain weight? It's extremely hard to get weight that low

I am. As it would take very little power to move this vehicle. A 53 foot semi has a maximum legal weight of 120 thousand pounds and is moved by a 600 horsepower engine. And it moves at highway speeds. This means that a 2000 pound car would need to have a 10 horsepower engine to have the same performance. It would simply need to have a transmission that is as efficient as the semi transmission. A little more math reveals that a 300 pound vehicle would need about 2 horsepower. This could come from an engine that would weigh ten pounds or less. Especially if it was made of Torlon, which is a plastic that has been used in racing engines. Good to hear from you.
