Wow! Great job. So many different driving styles out there. You look aggressive yet smooth inputs. Perfect style. Running my 01 Boxie S there on Saturday. 147 is my best. Long way to go...

@@gary_114 No doubt. Just did 3 week upgrades to car, running tomorrow Laguna. Mounted Hoosiers. Was running 888Rs. OMG. I expect I will have huge learning curve as grip will be off the chart. Car is already super planted so my fear factor is being able to go faster in turns and how to ramp up my level of finding the edge. Thanks!

Nice lap! I just got an S2000 for track duty. What exhaust is needed for Laguna (92dB)? I'm afraid of the 70mm single exhaust I have now is too loud. Thanks!
@gary_1143 жыл бұрын
70mm will definitely be too loud. Alot of Laguna days are now 90db now. Only exhaust i know that pass without laguna pipe is the Fujitsubo. Other than that, you’ll have to have a Laguna pipe or laguna pipe with an additional muffler which is what im using. Evs 70mm with Laguna pipe and muffler

How do you like the cr1 ?
@gary_1143 жыл бұрын
Love them. They're IMO the fastest tires out at the moment. It's a mix between the AR1's and A052's. Doesn't require as much precision as AR1's but not as forgiving as the A052's.
@kayhesse3 жыл бұрын
Do they grip and last better then ar1?
@gary_1143 жыл бұрын
@@kayhesse grip is better compared to AR1 and A052 imo. You'll have maximum grip for longer but it falls off a cliff on the 4th day for me. I'm on my 2nd set with 2days about 9hc right now.
@kayhesse3 жыл бұрын
The ar1 grip down to the cord imo but won't handle much back to back hotlaps. After cooling them down next session I got all the grip back. Had this with every set. But in search for a slight wider tread (same size tyre) that can go little bit longer with back to back hotlaps.
