You did a half decent job of starting the camera today, Nick 😅 Your filming skills are coming along in leaps and bounds! That pacing was spot on. Well done 👏

Ha, thanks Mark - small steps! I think I probably have unrealistic expectations with pacing… with parkruns I’ve always been within a few seconds 😅

Enjoyed watching that Nick. Wish I'd paid more attention to who was near the 50 minute board at the start and been a bit more disciplined and I reckon i may just have been able to handle 7 to 9k better and keep up with you guys but such is life. Good to see a fair few of my Bubbleworks Hitchin teammates in the video. Keep up the good work mate

@@iandevlin8282 Thanks Ian! Ah yeah that’s a shame, would have loved to have you on board! But well done for keeping going at the end - that final stretch is always tough 😶 And keep at it yourself - hopefully see you at another race soon 👍🏼

Yep, it’s always the dreaded stretch! Shame I didn’t get more of that bit on camera, although maybe it’s for the best 😅

Nice video Nick! I put out the km markers… km 6 is really tricky to mark out as the land marks on the course measurement are no longer visible. I think it’s right, but thats why it says 6km ? On the survey paint.

@@johnauld9851 Cheers John! Ha, love it (hadn’t actually spotted the question mark) 😅 Where was the 1 km one? Hidden by spectators is my guess…

@@nrg_runs km 1 is just before the grange roundabout. The marker is on the right hand side of the road on the grass.

@@johnauld9851 And now I know! Makes sense as I was running on the left-hand side for quite a bit. Thanks again for putting on such a great race 😊
