It takes time. My mother took great delight in telling new mothers that while I would go on the toilet before starting school by myself, I refused to wipe my butt. Calling out to my mother to come and wipe me. In desperation with school starting shortly, she decided she wasn't going to help me. Apparently I would sit calling out to her, then progressed to crying. Finally I got around to wiping my own butt after many teary sessions. I did start school not needing any assistance in the end. It seems funny relating that story now, seeing as I am quite elderly now.

I'm not even a mom, don't know if want to have kids..but i love watching her grow, specially how you educate her..i would love to buy a book on korean child education 'cause your methods and dedication is amazing..I get that in Asian countries some women quit working and dedicates to the child and the house, don't know if that MJ's case..either way i would love a book of your teaching methods you are both excelent parents.

Be patient. She’ll get it. Look at it as 2 steps forward one step back. My Kymmie started at 14 months and was completely done by the time she was 18 months. My Curtis started at 16 months as he hated to be wet or dirty. He was also completely done at 18 months. Patience and lots of support from you two will only encourage her and she’ll get it. You two are the only ones that know when she is ready as all munchkins are different. Keep up the good work. Ruda is absolutely adorable and reminds me so much of when munchkins were her age.

The potty my kids had when they were Ruda’s age had sensors in the bowl part and it played a song when they peed or pooped. They really loved making that song play. My husband and I would clap, sing and dance for them when they went potty and activated the song so it really encouraged them to go. I really think that singing potty made the whole experience much easier. :) Keep up the great work Ruda!! You’re doing so well!! 👍😀
