I have a ton of gutted parts from other boats in my back yard and I finally get to capitalize on those left-over bench seats ;). Thanks for all your great videos, they helping me rebuild my aluminum 15ft duroboat. Im in Botswana, Africa, i do a lot of fishing in the Okavango. The main problem we have here is getting materials, we can get aluminum pieces, but bilge pumps, some decking materials and the like are an issue. It takes forever to get stuff shipped out here. Good luck with the channel. You doing great work

Looking Awesome - Tristian is gonna love it!! I wish I had seen your vids earlier. I replaced the wood decking on my ole 1993 Tracker with treated wood and outdoor carpeting. I cover my boat religiously but I know it will only be a matter of time before it goes starts to succumb to the elements of the Sun and Heat here in Yuma.

hey man, what is the foam board you are using in the channel wals? and beneath the subfloor

I have seen on your other later builds that you moved away from doing the foam panels and drilled holes in the floor board and then poured foam. I have been debating this on my build. If the foam is poured it will block the channels running on the bottom that drains the water. Thoughts?

When applying your gator skin, you can use a roller to press it around the rivets without puncturing it. If you tuck it around the edges of your panels, you will get less shrinkage and damage from the elements.

Michael!! Great video, really appreciate your time and advice! Especially on the SEA DECK! I have a 2017, 195 Bass Tracker with the rubberized floor covering over the deck. Super easy to keep clean, however it gets FREEKIN OUTRAGESLY HOT on your bare feet in the summer!! Other than keeping a beach towel down or pulling all of it up and recarpeting the entire deck, what would you recommend??

Just curious. Why don't you use the pvc sheets? I have been contemplating using it to redo the deck of my boat. I know it's a little bit more expensive, but weight and durability will be better than wood. Any thoughts on that would be helpful. My boat is a 16 ft tracker style boat.
