I really like how Teddy was telling Somi to take ownership of her choreography cause he's right, it's her song and she is the artist. She shouldn't feel intimidated about suggesting choreo for her song cause it was her song in the first place. I think her time at IOI really broke her spirit down which is why she became so timid during the choreo practice. Girl, you're not in IOI or ITZY anymore, you're Jeon Somi of Black Label. it think its a general problem of girlgroups,maybe thats the reason chungha was successful solo so early cause she was known for her ability to dance/sing/perform well aswell as create choreos and direct to give your song your own touch,in girlgroups you are part and try not to overshadow your other members/shine less solo but more as a group,somi had all abilities to go solo and her voice stood out but she was trained her whole live nearly beeing in twice,beeing in IOI,nearly debuting with ITZY... to be a girl group member,black label really fits her way more than jyp

I really thought The Black Label was a bad choice for her but after watching this episode and seeing how supportive and loving they are towards her, I completely changed my mind. She clearly wasn’t happy at JYP but now she has TBL and YG artists and staff and will actually look out for her and help her to become an amazing artist like them. Teddy is the main brain behind YG success, i think teddy still stuck with old yg fam value that made bigbang and 2ne1 the greatest performers.. they dare to add adlib, extra moves and dont stick to what choreo and actual song. Don’t get me wrong, bigbang and 2ne1 are the artists who made YG an influential and powerful entertainment agency in korea, but without Teddy’s music, I don’t think they could reach this level. And remember that time when Lady Gaga offered Teddy to become her music producer, that’s the golden era of Lady Gaga, Teddy would’ve rose to fame in Hollywood as music producer, but he chose to stay at YG, because he’s loyal to yg. She did get traumatized with JYP, she’s been with JYP since she was 13 years old. JYP told her in Sixteen that she was bad in dancing in Produce she didn’t get that much criticism in her dancing. Then she got into IOI, she enjoyed it but since she was still under JYP’s eye at that time JYP had to criticize her in her singing and dancing. JYP is very strict with dancing and singing that sometimes they lose their confidence. Even JYP said something to a Winner member and that person seemed to lose his confidence. I’m sorry but this was during Somi’s trainee years, she wasn’t fuckin training with JYP when she was in IOI. No one said nothing bad about her when she recorded in IOI but it’s JYP. Stop saying it happened during IOI it happened before IOI!

After listen carefully all day the pieces of song that we have here I just have a few things to say: 1. In the 3:40 clip we hear the prechorus, and then an instrumental break after the chorus where the lyrics are (cause you already know, just how I feel...). 2. In the 9:43 we hesr the same break but with an 'Ohh ohh" so I'm guessing that's the final dance break where the song ends and the lyrics are(all you got to lose). 3. Finally, in the 11:07 we can hear the intro of the song (sounds a little bit like Chungha' s Rollercoaster, no trying to compare is just sounds so good) and a little bit of the verse and even the beginning of a rap section. So we are going to have maybe 2 rap sections in this song. I beg you to all to hear closely to the sections I mentioned, and all I have to say is... A SOTY is coming, and I know we have a lot of SOTY this year, but really this one is going to be so huge wheb it gots released. I really beg you to listen so closely because I'm brave enough to say this is one of the, or even the best song that Teddy has produced by far(Of course Somi is involved on it too so she really snaps as well). Teddy is just the best CEO. He doesn't act like a bossy boss, he's just like a friend to his artists. I hope SOMI keeps being herself and doesn't lose her individuality and uniqueness thoughout her journey in the messy entertainment industry. Another thing, Teddy is right about his advice to SOMI, she must own her stage, it's her own song and her own dance, she must not be afraid to express her ideas because she is young, and no matter what the outcome is, it falls on her head. It's also one of the struggles of being a soloist. She must mix up with different dancers and teams regardless of age. Age is a barrier for her in a country that poses great importance in "seniority". She puts too much effort in maintaining harmonious team to the point that she makes herself transparent, I would be sad to see SOMI like that. I hope she can freely express herself. Besides, she's not afraid of her boss, what else is she afraid of?! Come on girl, cheer up and fighting!!!

I feel like the reason Somi is struggling with taking ownership with her work is because most of her experience as a working idol was to follow the rules and strict structures of an already completed project (in which she just had to record the song in the way someone else wanted). It's no wonder she's having a hard time with newfound autonomy with her work.
